Dude, I can bicker with you and trash talk all day long, trust me. I am the only girl in a rabid sports family. I'm just pointing out that we are normally provoked PRIOR to that. The absolute worst place I have ever seen a game is Camden Yard. They make Yankee fans look like they wear halos. I nearly had a fist fight htere...with two men who wanted to hit me because I corrected them on their sports knowledge. We tend to get a bad rap because, I'll admit, 50% of Yankee fans...minimum...are loud mouths.
And by the way...right there with ya on the Rangers fans. I'm not a New York sports fan, just the Yankees. The rest of my allegiances are spread all over the country.
I think the problem is that A LOT of us feel like this, no matter who you root for. Hell, I'm a Philly fan and ALL I hear about is throwing snowballs at Santa - not that I was even at the game - but I must be an azzhole because of it. Everyone gets defensive (and provoked), especially when you know that's not what you're about. If there were an Orioles fan on this board, they would probably be offended that you said that the worst place you saw a game was at Camden Yards.
