How effective is it? does anyone else use this as their only form of BC?
Re: Pulling out
I am a firm believer that doing that is extremely careless, either let him *** in you, he puts a condom on or get actual BC. Just my opinion, but i know a lot of people who swear by doing that.
How's that little quip go...
"What do you call a couple who use pulling out as BC? Parents!"
I find it hard to believe that this is Generation X and Generation Y and that we've gone through a sexual revolution.
Wow.
Pulling out?
NOT recommended. There is enough sperm in pre-ejaculate to impregnate you.
It depends....I wouldn't do this with a 20 year old. Over 35 or on Viagra maybe it's more reliable.
Hoping this is a joke. Men over 35 have indeed become fathers.
If you don't want another kid right now, why don't you guys use something more effective than the pull and pray method?
Tarpon you didn't know this was my form of birth control?
My DH and I did it for almost a year. I didn't get PG.
We knew that we wanted another child, but wanted to wait. If I had gotten PG, it wouldn't have mattered much. If you absolutely do not want to get PG, then I think it is a bad idea. If you are in a stable relationship and are talking about having children then go for it. It is nice to be off of BC.
I agree with you, but I think they meant men over 35 would have more control than a 20 year old. That's how I interpreted it. But yeah, still not the smartest idea.
Ok i am not stupid, I know that this is not 100% effective....that is why i asked HOW effective it is. I was just curious to see if other ppl use this as their ONLY BC. I didnt know if there was a percentage out there.
Shame on you! If you were a religious, God fearing woman you would know that God wants you to bear as many children as possible and when you let your DH pull out, you allowing him to spill millions of possible children all over your thighs. Shame on you!!
http://www.plannedparenthood.org/health-topics/birth-control/withdrawal-pull-out-method-4218.htm
I never said all we did was Pull and pray! Yes i do track my cycle and know when NOT to do it!!!
I just hated being on the pill, made me more crabby and emotional, I am much better off not on it.
Are you serious???
From Planned Parenthood's website -
Of every 100 women whose partners use withdrawal, 4 will become pregnant each year if they always do it correctly. Of every 100 women whose partners use withdrawal, 27 will become pregnant each year if they don't always do it correctlyOf course, the part about doing it correctly is the biggest factor. And I'm willing to put money down on the fact that most men cannot consistently do it correctly each and every time.
If you're ok with a 30% chance of becoming pregnant, do the pull and pray. Me, I need something more effective than that. I take the decision to procreate a lot more seriously than that.
There are other methods besides the pill. You might want to go into a clinic and ask them for information on other forms of birthcontrol. "Pulling out" is not something that people rely on, like another girl said it's about 20% effective...that's more than a 1 in 4 chance of becoming pregnant...not smart. Wouldn't you rather get pregnant when you're both actually ready..instead of just having the idea of "if it happens, we'll be able to manage?"
Maybe we will try this next time!!
Then you are just vacuuming up all God's children, no different from letting him spill his seed all over your thighs. Submit to God's will and have many children as it was originally intended.
You do realize that a 1 in 4 chance is 25%, while 1 in 5 is 20%. So actually it's less than a 1 in 4 chance.
Still not a good idea to use as the primary means of BC.
Do Dyson's have extensions for that?
Right LESS oops!
Oh did i forget to mention that he was pulling out during buttsex? IF we do have vaginal sex we use condoms everytime!!! I didnt know if i could get prego during the buttsex!!!
Huh? I can't tell if this is sarcastic or not... o.0 Please tell me you're just being a smarta$$.
