I seriously forgot why I hate the Pets board
Re: I seriously forgot why I hate the Pets board
I'm not a dog owner so maybe I just don't know what I'm talking about, but it really seemed like they jumped all over you. Reading the post I felt like I was back in school listening to students say the same thing over and over because they just like to hear themselves speak.
That said, I'm surprised that leaving dogs in a dog friendly yard with shelter is considered worse than crating them. I thought that was more for people who didn't have safe yards. I'm going to go hug my cats and tell them I'm happy they're so low maintenance
Grrr.... reading that link made me mad. I'm with the people who think that the dogs can't be that bored with a big backyard and toys to play with. I'm sorry they were so rude.
Oh, my bad. I didn't realize we could all weigh in with our opinions unless it was in opposition to Jen.

I think I will stay out of this one!
But remember calling the Pet Board ladies Psyco is no different then them judging you without knowing you. They are coming from a diiferent perspective working with abused and mistreated animals on a daily basis. They are very caring women.
I will agree with this. I have gotten some very caring, helpful responses from the Pesties. Plus, I'm IRL buddies with a few. I think the backlash you witnessed wasn't indicative of the whole board.
And try to keep in mind that many of these ladies work in shelters with abused and neglected animals. They see things every day that would make me want to turn in my humanity card. I sympathize with that.
