I will say this. I think I've learned a lot from this board. It's made some of my opinions stronger, and made me more open on others. I guess that's why I've stayed so long.

How else do you learn the other side of issues if you don't read a differing opinion? It doesn't make it wrong a lot of times just because you disagree with someone, you know. It also doesn't make them terrible people.

Thats one reason I come here. And I said the majority not everybody I know. Most of the people that I spend any amount of time with believe in God on here there are several that do not, most I know are animal lovers but not more than people and on here I have actually seen it said more than once that they have more compassion for an animal. Not everyone of course and I have no problem with the differences usually, It makes it interesting to see whats said on here, but some days its just more noticeable. I have actually changed my point of view on something after its been discussed on here.

PK, I find most on here fit the stereotype I have of white women < -- oh no, how racial of me ..but I consider/respect their opinions/values/views of their rose colored world.

I'm white, was born in Detroit where my grandfather was a preacher in a very rough neighborhood, then lived in Grand Rapids where all of step dads family were Polish and very racist. Now I live in the south, I can't fit in any stereotype at all, don't try to make everything black/white and don't think I am racist at all.  I try to respect others too, thats why when people post making fun of God or talking about other things I don't agree with I usually just keep my mouth shut and am usually interested in seeing their point of view.

I don't get WhyTF it matters. Donate, don't donate, donate to something you'd rather give to, whatever. Donation is a personal thing. It's a difficult thing when you're struggling financially, if that's the type of donation you prefer. You can donate time. You can donate money. You can send prayers/thoughts/joy to where ever you want whenever you want.

Seriously, is it really something that everyone needs to get all dramatic about? We all have different opinions on a lot of different subjects. This one isn't anything new.
