do we need a confessions post?

this board has become a wasteland!

me:  I have seriously lost my brain.  I forgot to set an alarm and woke up at 645am.  I thought it was friday and the office opens at 7am so I freaked out.  I hop in the shower and get ready in 20 min (I did NOT look good) only to realize it's thursday.  to my defense, I took tomorrow off so it's technically my friday.  OYE!

and I kind of like traveling and being away from MH.  we haven't fought all week!  Yes

Re: do we need a confessions post?

  • Me: I think it's unusually cruel to be on SBD right after a breakup. No booze = dealing with feelings. LAME
  • LYB- (((hugs)))

My (ex)husband finally got served his papers last night. Not a fun night.

  • I am kind of snickering that my H's ex is getting divorced again. She has a 17-year-old from a man she never married, then my H, then got remarried, oh, two months after the divorce with my H was final and now has a 3-year-old with the man she's getting divorced from. Trainwreck central.

I've seen pictures of her on FB and I'm always like, "I'm a million times hotter than your ex." LOL Smile

  • The girls are melting the F down right now (and have been for an hour) and MH is gone until tomorrow night for work, so I am all alone to deal with it.  I am so pissed at him for being gone, even though it really isn't his fault.

    Ugh.

After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

Boo Sad When does that nanny start?

  • Nanny starts 4/26 and I go back to work 5/3.

My friend is coming over tonight for a few hours, thank God.  At least it's another pair of arms...

  • I found out the reason why my ex-H is not paying me on the debt he ran out per our divorce settlement is because he donated a kidney to his friend and took ten weeks off (unpaid). It's messing up our loan for our new house because our lender wants proof he's paying it off.... there's no way I can not come off like the harpy ex-wife.

  • 10 weeks off?!

I took 3 weeks off after I donated.  10 weeks seems like a lot!

Yes, ten weeks to "recover" in addition to the several weeks pre-op that he was down here since he apparently no longer lives locally. He had told me previously he was having surgery related to his "heart condition." I found out otherwise via Facebook.

Kim: Hugs too and I felt the same way toward MH too, but undersstood he had to go back.

5dogs: I hope that a$$hat has some major karma coming to him. Since it was in the settlement is there something else you can do?

I need to start working... I've been working since Tuesday and my last day is tomorrow and I've just starred at my computer screen or sent emails...

Also I secretly judge some of the women on The bump that have two tickers... one for their infant that is about 4 to 5 months old and another ticker showing that they're 12 to 13 weeks pregnant.

I had started the diet like 2 days beforehand. I also splurged the weekend before knowing I'd be doing SBD so it's kinda mandatory. LF(at)B= no dates.

  • I'm on my period and it is the heaviest its ever been and I want to curl up and die... so I just had a twinkie for lunch... it was the most disgusting thing ever.  I haven't had a twinkie since I was a kid and I feel like scraping the inside of my mouth because i feel like there is a "film" on it.

I should have had a snickers.

Oh... and I brought a lean cuisine for lunch but it's still in the freezer.

  • I couldn't resist the siren call of the Entenmann's donuts while I was at Target today. I ate 1/2 of two different types & then threw out the rest of the box. Such a waste of money, waste of food and waste of calories because now I feel gross.

H & I have stopped trying to avoid, but we're totally half_assing ttc. Like, we know this week would be the peak time, but neither one of us has shown any interest in getting busy.

Oh how I remember that.... TTC is sooo not remotely close to fun sex.    The time it actually worked for us, we finally had fun sex after 2 years of trying and it was fun because he'd been gone on business for a while.  LOL

  • After hanging out with my cousin's daughter at Easter, the one that could totally be a Gerber baby, I'm having a wee bit of baby lust. Yeah, it'll likely be gone by next week, but the idea of having kids is sounding more and more fun these days. H's attitude towards the whole idea isn't doing much to temper matters either.

    Good grief, who am I?!

  • Can I have another one?  I cried last night at American Idol when the judges saved Big Mike.  My hubby was so embarassed to know me at that point... let alone the fact that he is married to me.

I blame it on my period

    Thanks SS - you're too sweet. :)

My MIL caught me holding the baby and didn't say anything, but stood there grinning like the cheshire cat for a good solid minute. It actually made me laugh.

  • Starlily - I can totally relate. It's hard to commit, isn't it? In some ways I am so envious of people who have unplanned pregnancies because once it has already happened, you just have to roll with it but the act of trying is scaryassshit.

and on that note, my confession is that I am on CD 69. My dr thinks it could be stress (we have gone through a very rough 1st quarter) but has started testing just in case. I'm nervous as hell about what she might find.

  • LYB - sorry about the break up

5dogs - sorry about the child support issues

My confession: We went to Costco yesterday and I convinced DH to let me get a jumbo box of skinny cow ice cream sandwiches. I think skinny is a loose term, because I've been blowing through the box like a hot mess. Plus, I think it's giving baby a sugar high because  the ninja kicks increase as I pig out. But they taste so damn good.

Also, I've worn the same dress all week. F-it it's comfy.

You know who to email if you have any questions.  Sadly, I am the expert on this matter.  Stick out tongue

    Good luck!

It's not child support (my daughter is with my FI) - it's the $16k in joint credit cards he ran up living his double lifestyle while we were married (flying his girlfriend down to OC, entertaining her, gambling, hookers, etc) + his car that I was a co-signer for.

& don't feel guilty about re-wearing the same dress. I think I lived in like four outfits over the summer last year because they were comfy.

Gambling? Hookers? YIKES!!! How did you not know if this was a joint card? Or do I even want to ask????  I hope you get this cleared up. Escrow was a PITA and they scrutinized everything.

    Totes.

  • OK here's mine..

Since Sunday- I've slept full on dressed-(like in my jammies but pants and long sleeve light tshirt- other wise I would usually just sleep in a shirt and undies)  have left my and H's shoes by our respective sides of the bed- AND I have the cat's carrying cases near the door just in case there's a earthquake during the night.

    Embarrassed
