I live in Spencer (34 min from Charleston) and 7/19 we'll be married 2 years.  I'm from NC and am adjusting to life in WV, quite a transition.  We should liven up this board!  What's everyone doing this summer??

So far we've been camping with my family a few times. Other than that we're just settling into married life. We're hoping to go to the Outer Banks over Labor Day weekend, but right now we're not sure if we're going to get to go.

I am from just outside Washington DC and am moving to Morgantown, WV in late October... I am very excited but everything is going to be so new - house, friends, area so it would be great to keep in touch at least online here. Are any of you ladies as close to WVU as me?!

I live just 20 minutes from morgantown!!  I'm from Pittsburgh, but have been living in wv for almost 5 years now!!  I too would really like to see the WV board pick up some steam... there is no one on the community board over at the bump either.. come on ladies!!!

I live in Gallipolis, OH but given my selection choices from the local boards I check the WV boards more than say the Cbus boards.

 

I had this board full of posts a while back ago, but The Nest went and ate them. Grrr.

The snow's okay. Pretty to look at, but I don't like driving in it.

It snowed pretty good yesterday, but nothing stuck to the ground. We haven't had anything today, its just really cold. I heard there's alot of snow in your area.

Hi- I just found the WV board.  :-) Moundsville, WV born and raised.  My husband too. 

 The snow is pretty here too. I don't like driving to West Liberty in it though.  88 gets bad quick. The Oglebay lights are beautiful though!  You should drive through them some time.

   Hey Deanna! I'm from Parkersburg too!!!

  My hubby and I got married last February, but no too long after he joined the military and we are now in TN. We have one daughter and another baby on the way coming in July!!   Nice to see some country girls on here!

I would love to drive up and see the lights =]. A friend of mine and her husband went up a week or two ago, they said they were beautiful.
