Re: Anyone here?
My husband and I are from Clarksburg. Great wedding date!
I'm in Morgantown about a third of the year, the rest of the time I'm in Jersey. We were married October 2, 2010.
I should have read the responses first! It's awesome to see another motown poster
Hi! DH and I currently live in Charleston, but may be moving to Logan soon (that's where DH works).
We just moved here in February. Does it always rain so much??
Another WV girl here! I'm from Lincoln County (Ranger) and my husband is from Salt Rock - we graduated in 1997 from Guyan Valley and Cabell Midland, respectively. Then we met at Marshall in our first semester - fall 1997. Both of us kept going to school (he went to Virginia Tech for a Ph.D. in chemistry after undergrad, and I worked in a lab for a few years and then went to medical school at Marshall) so we put off the wedding (on 9/4/2010) until one of us had a real job! He's a chemistry professor at Marshall now and I graduated from med school in December 2010 - I'm working at a microbiology lab and will be applying for residency in internal medicine soon.
We live near Lavalette - it's Wayne County, but a Huntington address. Nice to see other West Virginians!
I was hoping this board was more active, but it appears to be very dead? Anyway, I'm originally from New Jersey, but we are in Morgantown 4-5 times a year to visit family. We get there as much as we can to see everyone.
I hope to have a vacation home there soon, and maybe even retire there someday.
Hopefully we can wake this board up?!
