Re: funny couples costume ideas?
Last year my hubbie and I went as "Bobby Light" and I was a dirty girl!
If anyone has ever seen Rob Derdek's former MTV show "Rob and Big" you will know what I am talking about.
I tend to like movie/TV couples. Buttercup and Wesley from Princess Bride. Or Lloyd and Diane from Say Anything (super easy to put together, and it's a must for DH to have a boom box). Sookie and Bill from True Blood. Absolute classic: John and Claire from Breakfast Club. Juno and Bleeker from Juno.
You can add creativity to the Little Red Riding Hood and Wolf costume by making it "Little Dead Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf" (add some blood!).
Stuff that's a little more creative:
Macaroni and Cheese (one wears a cheese hat, the other sweatsuit with noodles glued on it); Almond Joy and Mounds; Gold Digger and Man with Money (she wears all gold and holds a shovel, he wears a nice suit with money hanging out of the pockets); Housewife and the Milkman; Lawyer and a Car Accident victim.

My husband and I were this last year:
1920s ganster and a burlesque dancer
We are going as Ben Rothlisberger and an Under-aged girl (under 21).
I will be Ben - wearing mens clothes, a homemade superbowl ring, and fake facial hair.
The hubby is the girl - wearing skirt, belly shirt, fake tramp stamp, wig, and don't forget the black X's on the hands....
two years ago I was a sexy CSI agent and my hubs was a DEAD guy... we got a make up kit for glass and bullet holes and ripped up an old suit from a second hand shop and taped "caution tape" on his back.... We got so many compliments on his makeup it looked so real... it was messy though... so be careful
this year if we go I will be a zebra and he a safari hunter. I am just a little obsessed with zebra print so I have the cutest outfit already...
