Anyone have anything fun this weekend? We're doing some house hunting tomorrow and I'm very hopeful about this trip. There seems to be a bunch of homes with potential out there. Of course, we'll likely be sorely disappointed, but you never know...
Sunday afternoon/evening is my mom's wedding. I have to report for duty at 9:30 am for makeup/hair. I know it's going to be a long and not entirely fun day. Hopefully the wedding itself will be nice - the weather should be good at least. I've also taken off on Monday, so hopefully I'll get a chance to recuperate from the festivities.

Re: Weekend Plans?
We are getting ready to take Dagger to a pumpkin patch. It is at a farm with pumpkins on the vine, a corn maze, hay rides, etc. So excited.
No real plans for anything else. Probably continue our Emmitt quest.
I hope the house hunt goes well and that Sunday is better than you anticipate!

My parents are coming out for the weekend, not sure what the hell to do with them though. Not much other than that, the days just kind of blend together for me now :
Oh, also preparing for my interview on Tuesday!! Send me all your toilet paper.

We'll be entertaining our furry houseguest Ruby Sue and making sure her 8-month-old-crazy-self doesn't eat anything she's not supposed to. The girl is nutty hyper but so so sweet. She's the fluffy muppet in the middle:
We have a free day tomorrow for errands, and maybe a trip to the local orchard.
Sunday I'm going for pedis with a friend as a belated birthday treat.

F is installing a new furnace in our house, so the downstairs will be in disarray, and I will essentially be a single mom for as long as he's working.
The weather's supposed to be nice, so I'm considering taking Ian to a college football game with my parents Saturday. Otherwise, grocery shopping, cleaning, and cooking something on Sunday (either lasagna or eggplant parm).
11/11/11 = 5 years. Woah!
We're headed to the Cape to do some family time. Pete's sister and her family are coming in from Crooklyn so we're all going out to dinner on Saturday with their dad. Sunday we're doing cake for all our crazy celebrations this week with both sides of the family. My mom is having it at her house so she's sort of gone into manic mode getting her house ready for what will most likely amount to an hour and a half visit. Seriously, she's been hounding me for recent pictures of Alex because she's building a photo montage of him THAT MUST BE DONE BEFORE EVERYONE ARRIVES!
It's weird...
LOL, I do the same thing when people are coming over. I printed and framed a bunch of pictures for Massachusluts.

This sounds heavenly to me. My 'bachelorette party' was really a weekend with a few good friends where we spent the day drinking at a winery, the evening at a fancy dinner, and the after party drunk and baking chocolate chip cookies. Best party ever.
I get that a grandmother wants pictures of her grandkid - but I hate that she's changing her entire house around and "putting up airs" that they've always had this shrine to Alex. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but she's sent me four emails since yesterday about these damn pictures. I was still getting emails at 11:30 last night wondering if I've had any luck... She's sending them to Facebook and then emails and then Facebook and then emails...
"Say... You wouldn't happen to be looking for some pictures of Alex, would you mom?"
tonight we're installing new blinds in the nursery and H is MAKING me pack my bag. I've been promising to do it but then I don't.
tomorrow I'm meeting CM for lunch and then probably doing a lot of cleaning--trying to stay busy and active. Some floor scrubbing, bathtub scrubbing, anything that keeps me on my hands and knees (that's what she said).
sunday I'm having a baby . . . POSITIVE THINKING! : ) I don't wanna work next week. LOL
We are going to visit family in Hood River (hi Cali!) tomorrow and coming back Sunday. It's mostly non-annoying family, so it should be fun.
Good luck to you, Tasty!
I bet her FUPA's name is Shane, like the gunslinger/drifter of literature.--HappyTummy
EEEEEEE Tasty I'm so excited for you!
Tomorrow soccer game, Sunday at a bar for some non-Pats football.

Good luck Tasty! I hope Pickle is an outside baby by the end of the weekend!
The hair grows in thick where the horn used to be.
TSD, I forgot the Arts & Music festival is this weekend. Hope the weather cooperates. This crap is for the birds.
I'm so excited about Saturday. To make up for missing out on Alinea when we cancelled our August trip to Chicago, and to celebrate my promotion, we are going to Le Bernardin. I'm mostly looking forward to a really fun night out with my husband. We've been in a "we're really busy and tired" rut lately, so a night out dressed up and a long dining experience with lots of time to reconnect is just what the doctor ordered.
That said, I'm also really looking forward to the food, and if Eric Rippert makes an appearance, I might die from all the silver foxy goodness.
