Re: Debate on?
The question I posed that you posted is the same as my other posts...postponing a debate has nothing to do with being able to handle a crisis since the 2 are not even equatable. So, my point still stands as a could vs should.
But McCain is the one who canceled!!! I'm saying they can/should do both successfully! You are saying "why does only doing one mean they can't/shouldn't do both??" And I'm going to have to repeat myself: GO ASK MCCAIN! He's the one who decided that they can't/shouldn't do both.
I don't even know what the problem is here, lmw. Why do I need to ask anyone?!?! You just posted my point, imo. He says that they (fill in the blank) do both. You and I are just choosing different words to fill in the blank and define why he called for a postponement. I am lost at why there is infuriation in the tone with my comments here---I have said the same thing that the choice of words to critique this action are subjective (opinion). You said it was irrational to see it otherwise. There is a difference in our views. That is all.
Honestly, I don't think either of us is doing a very good job a e-communicating at the moment. Your points are a little convoluted. I'm not infuriated. Plus I have to jam. I vote we suspend this convo. You can have the final word.
