We made it.
And I only have 8 hours till my 3 day weekend extravaganza begins.
Also I just found a house that is really making me wish I had a little chunk of money to invest into flipping. I think that is something I would be good at.
Re: And NOW it's Thursday.
Hooray for Thursday!
If you go into flipping, I'd love to help "stage" the house for sale. Lemme know.
It's something my sis and I have thought we'd be good at.

Sweet. Is staging kinda like decorating? Because I need some major decorating help.
Speaking if decorating, I REALLY want to paint our bedroom. It's a nice buttery yellow, but I hate it with a passion. Why you ask? The walls in my office at work are almost exactly the same color. Seriously. I brought the paint chip in one day and it's only one shade off. Puke. I want to go for a brownish grey color. I think it would look really pretty with our blue bedding.
My bedroom is a buttery yellow too and I want to change it too, but because I can't for the life of me find bedding that goes with that stupid color. I love the color but nothing goes with it!!!
Are you also going for a brownish grey? I am currently in love with this bedding:

You could totally play this up with some pretty colored pillows.
I actually just decided on gray this week.
Yay. I think my vacation nagging is wearing H down. I just got a text from him that said "We should talk vacation when you get your bonus." Hopefully that means things are calming down at work for him!
I usually get my bonus in February. So much for sticking it in savings.

This is my second fav bedding from that seller:

Where have you been all my life? That is gorgeous and the price is great. Would you be pissed if I bought it? Hah.
Ha! Out of stock - my life story.
Haha. You should totally buy it. I like the first one I posted better anyway, but realistically won't buy it. We have 2 duvet sets right now, and I think Nick would be a tad peeved if I bought a 3rd set. LOL. Plus I have a set that's really close to that one and to have 2 that are so similar would be silly.
That is the one I would want (the first one), but it's out of stock.
This is what I have right now (I don't have any of the fancy pillows though):

You should still buy it! Who cares if we had the same bedding? LOL.
They were out of stock for a few weeks, but had some in stock last week and sold out fast. Check it every couple days and see if it's in. It does say too that you can buy it and they'll ship it when it's in stock.
Yep
Helping define each area of the home so buyers recognize exactly what each space is for, and can picture themselves living there, but without so much personal detail that they consider it someone else's home.

I personally love the brown + blue combo if you go that route, Wop. Our bedroom is also yellow, but it's more of a harvest yellow? It's kind of deeper in color and reminds me of fall if that makes sense. I like it enough to keep it.
Now bedding and curtains - we've been talking of replacing them since we bought the house it seems. We've been doing more upgrades recently - Andy just installed 3 sets of blinds (2 inch faux wood) that I got for a great price from JCP.
Alright, how do you think this paint color would look with this bedding?
Hi! Our bedroom is a brown/blue combo. I love it.
Confession: I just visited GRAR after Molly's mention of seeing a new house. DH and I have briefly talked about when we're going to start looking for a new house. It's not for awhile yet (like, years) but dreaming is fun.
And properly staging a home makes such a difference! One of the houses I looked at online this morning had a very nice, modern kitchen but every inch of it was plastered with kids' artwork. It made the kitchen look not so nice for potential buyers. I can't believe the realtor didn't ask the seller to take that down before taking pictures.
I think you could pull it together with the right accents (curtains, pillows, artwork, etc.).
I love that color and it would look very nice with the bedding.
Moley? Really? Is that some evil nickname you guys have for me behind my back? LOL.
My realtor sends me listings automatically anytime a price changes or a new house enters the market that fits my criteria. It's bad! But I loooooove it.
Pretty
That is awesome
HA! I suck.
Here's what happened... I originally typed "Molley". And then I read my post before I posted it (you know, so as to catch any typos... fail!), and I saw that was wrong. So, my intention was to delete the "e", but apparently I deleted the "l" instead.
I'm sorry!
Haha I'm sorry I am laughing...this is funny.
Speaking of bedroom decor, I just came across this Wall Street Journal article posted on Yahoo's homepage.
Down With Comforters!
Interesting. I've never had any issues with my duvet (my duvet has polyester fill) and cover. For someone who has a tiny washer, the duvet cover is a fantastic invention. I don't have to try and stuff a king size comforter in my washer or go broke getting it professionally cleaned.
