my dad... :(
i can not believe i have to say this... my dad is gone. I just can not believe this is happening. What am i going to do w/o him? He loved to help us with everything and had all the answers to my questions. I have to tell my daughter, who is 4... she likes to say 4 1/2 now since Sat. I am just sick. I don't have any brothers or sisters, nor do either of my parents, very small family to say the least. It is going to be so hard w/o him around. I just knew things were not good, the infection just went everywhere after the operation, and he was on so much supposrt his body just couldn't take it anymore. My mom called this morning to tell me to come to teh hospital b/c he took a turn for the worse and they were going to do an u/s of his heart during visiting hours...come to find out they were just keeping him alive until i got there. Paige (dd) had made him a "note" before preschool today too... it said " i -then she drew her version of a heart- and u". I was expecting to put it in his room, not on him. ugh...I'm sorry, i guess I just need to get this out again.. Thank you all for your T&Ps. (((hugs)))
