Re: TGIF Randoms
Sorry, I hate how people make you feel guilty. I have seen my friends with children experience that and it sucks. I have even had people try to make me feel guilty for not having children. I explain that it's not always a choice, but even that doesn't seem to sway some people.
Totally off topic, we'll be visiting an orphanage in Uganda and I have a feeling it will be tempting to take one home in my suitcase ;-)
That would be really, really hard for me to do. I would totally fall in love with all the children.

Sorry, I don't have any spa recommendations for Myrtle Beach. Our trip was really short (just two nights). I'm sure you can find something though. I might check and see there are any large chain resorts like Marriott that have a spa. My mom and I went to a Marriott resort spa in Ft Lauderdale and it was ah-mazing.
The movies were awesome! Such a fun night. We got home around 2:30 a.m. I decided to work from home today since my boss is out of the office. Fortunately for me, I don't have too much work to do! I have been up since 7, when L left for work.

I'm very excited. We're staying in the deluxe oceanfront room. I don't think we've ever stayed oceanfront before. But the views from all the rooms look amazing there. Did you rent a car?

Oceanfront is fabulous! We weren't oceanfront at SeaGlass because either it wasn't available or we didn't have enough points (and possibly both). We stayed on there on the super cheap in October to use up some remaining points. We had the 1BR studio, which was fine for the two of us. I'll post some pics to FB so you can see...
We did not rent a car and it was fine. I think a car would have been more hassle than useful. We took a taxi from the airport to SeaGlass and that was ~$15 each way, I think. You could call the resort to be sure. We walked a few blocks to the main street for sushi, there is lots to see if you walk along the beach in either direction. There is a pancake house across the street from SeaGlass where we had breakfast. It was good--typical diner breakfast, but cheap and tasty.
We had some saved points to use up, hence the reason for no "high red" seasons. We really wanted to go to Aruba again as a second-honeymoon-type getaway since it's for our 5 yr anniversary, but oh well. I know we'll make it back there eventually.
We've been wanting to go to Myrtle Beach for forever so this will work out fine. I wish we were leaving tomorrow though, rather than in 9.5 months...haha.
I think we'll cab it if everything is pretty much in walking distance. Weather looks like it should be in the low 70's...yay.

Hope to get some Girl time in with BFF and then SS Bday is next Thursday so we will be going to the beach at least once.
Bike rides, beach, bonfires and Bike Time. That about sums it up.
ETA: And booze! I haven't drank in a reallllly long time (like since the beginning of May!) and I plan on drinking this weekend. Wee.
I have a long list of things I want to get done this weekend. Also, we've talked about going to see Super 8 tomorrow night and going to the beach on Sunday. And I should clean my house.
We'll see how much of that gets accomplished.
