Re: Friday Chit chat?
I googled it and maybe it isn't actually a spider man push up but that's what the lady on my video called it. Anyways, your feet (or knees) are spread out shoulder width apart (maybe a bit more).
I have longer than a year. Haha.
I took Biology in the first 5 weeks, now I'm taking Microbiology. So, it's a bio filled summer for me!
What about you?
Pretty sure this is correct. We got the iphone when it first came out and got the unlimited data and texting plan so when we kept getting the newer phones our unlimited plan was grandfathered in.
However, if you currently do not have a smart phone and are going to upgrade to one then you will lose the unlimited plan that you currently have on a non smartphone and will have to use one that they offer.
Sorry.
That push up challenge looks great. Have you been doing it for 7 weeks?
I'm sorry about your coworker.
I'm a dental hygiene major. I really enjoyed Microbiology. I'm not taking any summer classes. I am taking 16 hours this fall though. So, I'm enjoying the break.
I've only had one week, but so far I'm really enjoying Micro. It's pretty interesting!
That's nice that you get to enjoy your summer!
I'm the opposite, I'll get somewhat of a break in the fall, and next spring. I will only be taking two classes in the fall, and one in the spring. Because that's all I will need before I apply to the nursing program. And if I get in for next fall, I'll be taking 2 classes next summer. 1 is online, so hopefully it shouldn't be too bad.
What if I already have an iPhone, and I just upgrade to the new iPhone when it comes out? Should I be able to keep my unlimited plans?
Yes... It's supposed to be 6 weeks, but I was sick, and then out of town, and so it got spaced out a bit more. But I've done 18 workouts (3x a week) and I can tell a huge difference in both the look of my arms and my strength level - we bought a new grill last weekend, and I helped the guy at Home Depot load it while James was inside getting a part! Well, I just helped move it around in the truck, not lift it up there, but still - that is a HUGE difference for me because I used to be embarrassingly weak in my upper body. I highly recommend it, if nothing else than for personal satisfaction.
I hope you get into the nursing program on your first try. I know how competitive it is. Dental hygiene is the same way. Are you applying to more than 1 school?
Yes, that's the only way we were able to keep our unlimited plan. It will just keep rolling along with you.
Now, I wonder if I switch from my iphone and go to a Blackberry would I still be able to keep my unlimited plan? I'm not going to do this because I LOVE my iphone, but I've wondered this.
Thanks girl. I hope so too. Or else it's going to make this process even longer.
I want to apply to TWU as well, but unfortunately, I'll have to wait and apply to them a few months after I apply to UTA because of the way I'm taking my classes. I'll be taking A&P II in the spring, and UTA allows you to apply for the program as long as you have all but at least one of the science pre-reqs done, and are in the process of taking the other. So I can apply in January, even though I'll be currently taking A&P II. However, TWU requires that you are completely finished with everything before you apply.
So I won't be able to apply until a semester later. Kind of stinks.
But, long story short, yes I'm applying to both TWU and UTA. They're the only schools in this area that offer BSN programs, that are public. We can't afford to send me to TCU.
Oh, well then I guess I'm good.
I don't know....I would assume if you stay with a smartphone it wouldn't change??
I love my iPhone too and don't plan on changing, so I guess I won't need to find out.
I thought when AT&T announced they were getting rid of the unlimited that we would be grandfathered. Hope that is right.
Hopefully, you won't even have to apply at TWU.
Maybe you'll already be in at UTA. There are only 2 BSDH programs in the area too. TWU and Baylor.
That's why I'm working my butt off to get the best grades possible so I can even be competitive.
Worst case scenario I could get my ADN at a community college, and once I'm an RN I could go back and do an RN to BSN bridge program. But, I really, really don't want to have to do that.
I agree with everything y'all said in reply to my statement. I can barely take care of myself right now, I don't think I could be responsible for a child too! And I know it's not selfish to not want a child, but I know that's my reason right now.
What day are you guys having the book club meeting next month?
I think the community colleges tend to be more competitive than the universities because they receive more applicants. That's what I've heard anyway.
That wouldn't surprise me, because people want to take the quicker way, versus getting the BSN.
But I know as far as the standards of admission, the community colleges are typically lower.
What shoe is it btw?

It's still tentative (I think) but I believe we're talking about the 13th. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though!
RE: phone upgrades.
from what I can tell, if you go from an iPhone to a newer iPhone you can keep your unlimited but I wanted to go from an iPhone to the Motorola Atrix and I was going to lose all unlimited options.
