Re: Wednesday randoms

  • The Michigan Supreme Court has decided that "Advertising Material" must be printed on all of my brochures and newsletters, and most event invitations.

    Angry

ETA: Ah, maybe I should mention that this isn't specific to me and my company wasn't related in a case.  It's a new ethics law that they've come up with.

  • The hiding kitty fakeout has definitely happened before, but unless she is trapped in a closet somewhere (also happened before), she never fails to come for her food or treats within a few minutes.  I have also known to have nearly-breakdowns over that too, so you're not alone, Juli.

  • That's kind of annoying, Kasa.  Did you hear about the MI Supreme Ct ruling that allows jurors to ask questions and take notes during trials?

Yeah... Zoey hides from me sometimes too and then I start to freak out.  And then sometimes, they're "hiding" because they've gotten shut in a closet or room.  Ah, cats...

I haven't heard about that.  Interesting.

  • Well we had our "court date" today for the bankruptcy. It was actually meeting with Trustee for about 10 minutes and we were done. Now we just wait to see if anyone wants to cause a ruckus and if not we will be clean in 61 days. Yeah!!!....I think.

Tomorrow is SS 16th Bday for we will be getting an early lunch at the cheetah and then head off to spend the rest of the day at Duck Lake.

I went dress shopping yesterday with BFF which wasn't really buying just more of trying. Found a few cute ones that I'm tempted to get just need to try and convince myself I need them. One was $10 and the other was $23 and a third one was $40. So I can't have all of them so I would have to choose.

  • Kasa,

Fill me in on the advertising law.... Is that just for your field, certain fields, stuff in general.

It's just for my industry.  Your husband will want to be aware, though, if he sends out any sort of marketing materials/letters (not sure how much of that he does, given his practice area).

Definitely not her fault...scary for momma!  Stewie is pretty much like a second child for us too...I tell him "Wait til' your father gets home!" LOL Smile

Your cat's name is Stewie?  Like from Family Guy?  I love it!

Yes, from Family Guy.  My husband chose his name, he loves that show.  I have to admit, I think it is pretty funny too.

I wanna name my next cat Peewee lol

They have people that do that kind of stuff.  That would be a pain...esp on invites.

It has to feel good to have some progress with everything. Fingers crossed no one causes a ruckus. And enjoy Electric Cheetah!!

Chocolate milk is so good. I love it. And I can only drink it fast.  It is physically impossible for me to sip it. I have to chug - at least 4 gulps in a row.
