I decided I would start this morning! :-)
So we had the surprise party for DH this weekend and I think it went pretty well. He was definitely surprised! Unfortunately, he was 30 minutes later to the party then he was supposed to be! :-)
My B&M is that I did not sleep well at all last night. I was so tired after the party and didn't get much sleep Saturday night so I took a nap on Sunday. Then I was able to go to sleep last night, but kept waking up throughout the night. It is so frustrating :-/

Re: B&M Monday
I'm about to take my final and be DONE and I'm so happy.
And H and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary this weekend and we had a wonderful weekend. I didn't let studying get in the way, which could be a bad thing come 15 minutes.
. But to be honest, I'm not stressing over it. It is what it is.
I have a busy week planned catching up on things I haven't been able to do and friends I haven't been able to see.
Oh, and I have missed you ladies.
ETA: I feel like I've missed so much! Lacey is our mod now!? Yay! Finally!

I'm the same way! We got a really nice new refrigerator a few months ago, and I was ridiculously excited.
Also, you girls need to tell me how "The Help" was! I'm going to see it next week with a girlfriend I don't see very often, but I want to make sure it's not a let down compared to the book.
I didn't have a B&M until I put my water in the fridge at work. We had a lunch (burgers) here at work on Friday, everyone chipped in $10 for burgers and chips and all the condiments. Well I keep a jar of mayo in my "box" with my name written on it in the fridge because a lot of times I'll just mix up a can of tuna for lunch. Well aparently that is the mayo they used for the lunch. Its almost gone now and was a full jar. And of course....little miss perfect and her side kick in the office, didn't set out her own full jar of mayo. I know it may be petty...but it makes me mad, its not the first time someone has eaten my food from the fridge that had my name on it. We have our own boxes, and write our names on stuff for a reason people!
Okay...vent over.
hehe, glad I'm not the only one.

When we bought our house a few years ago we had to get a fridge, washer and dryer. I loved looking for those things so much! Now that the price isn't so much more than the standard white, our next washer/dryer are going to be a fun color!
The Help was good, a lot of things were different from the book but not enough to make it less enjoyable. It seemed like they had to make the changes to make the story flow in the more concise format.
I bought the new Brita water bottles this week. I am a bad person when it comes to water bottles - I usually use at least 2 a day. I do re-fill but the water from the taps at school grosses me out some, I don't know why really, it just does. I bought these bottles with the thought that it might make school water consumption easier. So far no complaints.
Chelsea - The Help was great. I think several of us felt like we enjoyed it more because we read the book - they did a good job of translating it to film. I'm not sure I would have enjoyed it quite as much if I hadn't read it - I mean, it would have still been good, but I was more invested in it, I guess. You'll definitely enjoy it!
My parents are coming to town today to see my 3 year old niece's "pep rally" at daycare (they've been doing cheer leading for this last quarter, before that was dance). Since they'll be here, they volunteered to help my BIL pick up a piece of furniture that I bought Saturday on a whim, but have been stressing over picking it up. It's a fantastic antique armoir, in beautiful condition, and it was a steal - so I couldn't pass it up, even though I was in my car on Saturday and had no idea how I'd get it picked up. Yay for family to the rescue!
DH has another test today, and he's nervous about it. He studied a lot, but any T&Ps you can spare would be appreciated. He's taking it as we speak.
I get excited about appliances too.
I thought The Help was really good and enjoyed it a lot.
My B&M is that I am not feeling very good and I am not sure if it is brazilian blowout related or just a sinus/cold thing. I got the brazilian on Friday and she told me to leave it in for 24 hours (which I had never done before). I started feeling pretty icky Sat afternoon and am wondering if leaving it in with the formaldahyde was not a good idea. I am hoping its just a sinus thing but I will never leave it in again just in case.

I'm listening to Just Fishin' by Trace Adkins and seriously crying. Random, I know...but that is all I've got.
I'm with Brianna. I missed book club because the bank took too long! I'm sorry. Other than that it was great weekend with DH. One of the rare ones he is off from work and we don't have too much to do.
I hate being here today. Oh well at least I have my cup of coffee and I'm at my own desk.
Summer good luck on the test. Vibes for all tests this week!

I don't have much to complain about. My GM is icky this morning and I forgot my water bottle so I have to finish my GM so I can use that to go get water.
O...M...G...
I heard that song yesterday and literally an outpouring of ugly crying happened.

YES!
Yea...I tried to reply..but no go
Yeah. I unlocked it, but it doesn't unlock. Then I tried deleting it and it won't delete. I'll figure it out. For now just ignore it.
I hate songs that do this to me! There is a Jason Aldean song (Laughed Until We Cried, I think?) that makes me do ugly cry every time.
The stickies over here look different too! Good luck.

Going to look up lyrics now.
Lauren, I admit, I love new appliances too. I almost gave my brother my old washer/dryer so I could by new ones. No, not practical, but DH talked me out of it anyways.
Good luck for those taking tests today.
Leslie - you will have to tell me how you like the Brita water bottles. I've been tempted to buy them myself.
I have no B&M's today. It was our 1 yr anniversary this weekend too, and it was a fabulous weekend.

Morning ladies! I hope y'all had a good time Saturday. On Friday night, I had girls night out and we went to see The Help too. I thought it was really good... I was a cry baby during some parts.
That Trace Adkins song is really good.
Happy 1st Anniversary to you ladies! I hope it was a fabulous one!
Sarah, I'm glad the surprise party went well!!
Summer, good luck on your test!
What if you just do it as a regular post, and then I know there is a way to make it always at the top of the board (the pet and craft board have an FAQ like that)
Yep, I think when I made it sticky, it locked it and I can't unlock it now. So, I'm going to try to make a new post and not sticky it until we are done.
So far, so good. The only downside I can see is that since the water comes through the filter prior to coming out of the spout, you have to squeeze harder than a normal water bottle. If you were in the middle of a run and dying for water, you might have to slow down to successfully get a drink. Then again, I am not coordinated enough to get a drink while running without slowing down with any bottle so maybe this isn't such a big deal.
They have lime green, blue and purple 24 oz bottles. I bought the two pack of blue and green for $18.99 at Target. Each included a filter that is good the equivalent of 150 standard bottles of water. The replacement filters are $4, so I figured it was a good deal for me as I tend to drink 3-4 16.9 oz bottles per day.
Good Morning!!
I don't really have anything to B&M about. Except that I can't WAIT to move into our house. Hotel living is getting old. Soooo excited to have my own space again!!!
It's our two-year anniversary in a couple weeks, and I'm trying to brainstorm gift ideas. It's especially challenging to do it on the sly when DH and I are living in one open room.
My B&M is that thanks to the cat waking me up to eat at 4:30 this morning, I couldn't get up at 7 and missed my workout. I am so sick of cats--thank goodness Mel starts school next week so hopefully she can feed them at 5:30 and they will get back on schedule.
I felt terrible yesterday also and spent most of it in bed and still went to bed at 10:00. I have no idea why I felt bad though or what it was.
I enjoyed the movie and book club--it was nice to see everyone.

Just do it!
Glad everyone had a good weekend. We went to Wichita Falls to see DH's family. Had a great time. Glad we went.
The only thing I have to B&M about is DH's aunt is a rude smoker. She knew I was pregnant and her daughter called her to tell her that you can't be smoking around pregnant people and that if she wanted us to come visit she would have to not smoke while we were there. I knew going to visit that her smoking in the house would be a possibility and I told DH that if she did I would go outside for the rest of the visit. He said ok. Well we get to the house around 11 and by 11:30 she has lit up a cigarette, in the house (small and very close quarters with no fan) so I excuse myself and go outside. It was a long hour outside waiting on DH to finish his visit and we can finally leave. He said he didn't even know she had started smoking until I got up to leave or he would have said something. I swear guys are oblivious to so much!
We are going back to Wichita Falls this Saturday for the day to help DH's fraternity clean the house. I told DH I would help but he owes me a pedicure and getting my hair done. He said it sounded like a fair trade. I'm happy with this compromise!
