When did you start crafting: When I was 11 and in bed for six months after a hip operation, my mum got me into cross stitch and paper tole as I could do them on a tray in bed.
Kids: Yes, one 20 month old son called Lucas.

What do you do the 8 hrs you aren't crafting (ie your job): I am a SAHM and Creative Memories Consultant.

What do you do the 8 hrs you aren't crafting (ie your job): I am a full time mom, and I also work at my family's forklift company. It's a small company, so I do a lot of different things there.

When did you start crafting: I always have since a young age, but after my wedding was over it picked up drastically!

That's a bummer! I'm in AZ there are lots of jobs here, I think geology is like the only career growing in this economy (due to the metals prices).

Craft you've always wanted to try: I've dabbled a little in crochet and sewing, but want to get better at both.
Craft you fear: Um, scrapbooking, I guess. Not so much a fear as I-just-don't-get-it.

I lurk a lot, but I'm going to try to post more, so I'll answer this poll too!
Craft of Choice: currently it's quilting, but I also scrapbook
Craft you've always wanted to try: knitting
Craft you fear: painting. There's just too much choice when it comes to color and style, and not enough structure like you get from following a quilt pattern. Plus you can't really fix it when you screw it up.
When did you start crafting: Ummm... I think I was 18 or 19 when I sewed an entire outfit and crocheted my first blanket. But when I was a kid I used to "help" my mom sew by trimming the long threads.
Kids: nope
Pets: nope - not allowed in our apartment
Job/non-job non-crafty time: Circulation Supervisor at a local library. (I supervise the people who check in, check out, and shelve your books.) I'm also training for a 10k in October and a half in January.
Craft of Choice: Quilting, Cricut (Card making, scrapbooking) - although I haven't used the Cricut since I got a sewing machine.

Coming out of lurkerdom to play. I sew, refinish furniture, do mini crafting projects, floral arrangements, and photography editing, basic jewelry making.
Craft of Choice: Photography and editing, with sewing as a close second.

Craft you fear: Knitting. By the way, I have no plans on ever trying knitting no matter how much I desire your knitted objects. I just really have *no* space for another hobby. Quilting & sewing & fabric have taken over my life...
When did you start crafting: As a kid I took a Stretch and Sew class and made my own bathing suit, but that didn't take. I finally decided in college that I wanted to learn how to quilt. (My Mom started quilting when I was a toddler, so it's just always been around.)

Craft of Choice: So many. Currently obsessed with quilting. I also am into photography if you consider that a craft.
Craft you've always wanted to try: I always wanted to be a photographer, that is why I got into it recently. Other than that, I have always dabbled in a little bit of a lot of crafts. (I cross-stitch, used to knit, crochet, have done some scrap-booking, did some pottery in high school...)
Craft you fear: None that I can think of.
When did you start crafting: My grandmother taught me to cross-stitch and knit when I was very young. She also taught me to use the sewing machine.
Kids: Currently working on number one. That is actually what inspired me to quilt. I was looking at crib bedding and found nothing I liked. I deiced I wanted to make my own... voila I am learning to machine quilt.
Pets: Two Rat Terriers. Liddi, almost 2, (left) and Sammy, 1 1/2 (middle)
What do you do the 8 hrs you aren't crafting (ie your job): I work in TV. The simple way to explain is that I "organize" the commercial spots into what you see on air. That is, if you live in the area of the stations that I work on.

hCG Beta#1 (14DPO/IUI): 689.9, hCG Beta#2 (16DPO/IUI): 1319.3
7 week u/s revealed THREE babies, all with heartbeats. 153bpm, 148bpm, and 136bpm
9 week u/s revealed loss of Baby B. A and C are growing on track. A measuring 9w1d with 172bpm and C measuring 9w0d with 179 bpm.
First visit with MFM 12/19 - twins look great and were facing one another! 182 and 185bpm
Visit with MFM 1/9 - NT Scan and Genetic Multiples Pregnancy Counseling
NT scan revealed normal measurements between 1.3mm and 1.5mm on each baby. Both with 161bpm. Blood work from 1st Tri screen came back all normal!
Elective sex determination u/s on 2/8 revealed... boy AND girl!
A/s scheduled for 3/5 - still b/g duo! 150 and 148 bpm
