Re: Say say say- Anything
Oh V - so sorry you are so miserable!
You need some homemade chicken soup - stat!
- Paula Deen to 104.1 KRBE's Producer Eric 9/17/2011
V - I hope you get your sweaty, snotty outcome quickly.
We've officially started Project Sibling. I've given up margaritas and spent all my fun money this week on meds and things to pee on. Wild and crazy times, I tell you.
I was just debating responding to your post on the RE rec. I wondered since you said you used that dr for #1 it meant you didn't need one for #2.
I'm seeing a new OB/Gyn since we moved to Katy. He was willing to write the scripts for a few months to try to get us PG 'on the cheap' before we went back to the RE since we didn't need anything more than Met+Clomid+TI the first time.
hope it works for you ASAP. good luck!
Fun times. We just dropped some major coin at the Urologist today, along with about 4 hours of our lives. Project One and Done is gearing up.
Thanks for the well wishes. It turns out I have bronchitis on top of a sinus infection. I guess that's why I feel like a train hit me.
Good luck, duchess and JW. hope to hear baby news for you guys soon! fingers crossed
Dear DH, it really helps when you have a SA done to actually get the S in the cup!!! Love, your very frustrasted, and stressed wife.
Yep, he did a SA at home and when he was done, there was so little in the cup you could barely see it. He said, "sorry, it was hard to aim." We took it in and they said they could test it, but I'm just worried and frustrated that he got more outside the cup than inside. They said we won't get the results for at least 10 days. It took me almost a year to talk him in to actually doing it, and when he does he gets less than a 1/2 a teaspoon sample.

Surprise BFP naturally!!! IT'S A BOY!!!
oh no! hopefully it's enough and it all comes back with great stats.
DH did a follow-up today at the Urologist over shot the cup, so the sample was a little short of a full sample. They said it happens all the time. I loved hearing DH moan and groan about the $$ to get his junk analyzed.
Totally that was going a different was.
Heehee. Me too.
Ha! No I was asked to leave the room. I heard no moaning and groaning there.
Good to know I am not alone in the gutter.
Me too!
V--I hope that crud is gone quickly. Bronchitis really sucks.
Brief vent--it's been quite a while since I've felt any kind of homesickness (except for missing friends and family). But suddenly I'm feeling it everywhere. Seeing the Texans/Jets game on TV made me really miss going to the games. (We'll even be in town in December, but the one game we'd be able to attend will be OOT!) Reading the post above about everyone dressing their kiddos in their football fan gear makes me miss it even more. Then seeing photos on Facebook of my friends and their kids doing things like bbq'ing in the back yard, going to festivals, camping, little league baseball games...I just really miss all of it. Sure, the condo has a grill downstairs, but it's not the same. Sure, they have festivals here, but with the asian bands covering american pop music, and doing their own brand of Singapore pop, it's not the same. And forget baseball. They just don't have it here.
I really do like it here, and I know I'm looking at it through rose-colored glasses and not accounting for all of the negative stuff, but damn; I'm really homesick all of a sudden. Perhaps I should stay off of the internet. lol
Stop posting stuff like this you're giving me a panic attack.
Seriously though, I'm sorry to hear that you're having a hard time today, hope the mood passes quickly.
that sounds miserable!! hope you feel better soon
I'm starting injections tonight. I'm having my sister do the first one because I don't want to grab a handful of fat to stick it in for DH. If he hasn't noticed my fatty areas I don't want to accentuate them for him.
I am freaking out slightly about the idea of stabbing myself with a (tiny) needle daily. I am not big on shots.
That's exciting! Lots of baby thoughts for you! Good luck!
And LOL @ accentuating your fatty areas.
That's exciting! Lots of baby thoughts for you! Good luck! I await the appearance of you 3 days pregnant ticker.
And LOL @ accentuating your fatty areas.
Good Luck! I hope we see a BFP from you very soon!
I loathe needles. Good luck with the shots, hope it works on the first cycle & you can avoid future pokings!
girl me too. I'm always wrong.
I haven't been able to post much since I started my new job, but I have to say I love this job!!!! We don't have to be here until 9:30 a.m. and we leave at 4 p.m. and then I go home and finish up what I need to do on the very nice super bad @ss laptop they gave me! I've worked these guys before, it's like falling back into an old routine.
On another note we had to put my cat Tigger to sleep last night. She was almost 14 yrs old. I had the most heartbreaking weekend waiting for the vet's office to open. She was really trying to die, she wouldn't eat or drink, she had to have been in pain. It made my mom and I cry to force water and her pills in her mouth to hold her over until the vet opened.
Rest in peace my little Tigger.
My mom pointed out to me once that men don't notice a lot of stuff. If you're naked they think "BOOBS!" not, ew look at her saddlebags. She was telling me don't point out stuff because they probably haven't noticed it. So I don't complain about fat or stuff in front of DH. Maybe he has noticed some stuff but just in case I'll keep my mouth shut.
Good luck! If I could do it, anyone can. I used to (and still sometimes do) pass out when getting blood drawn. I had to really pump myself up to do the shot, and I'd still stand there staring at the (tiny) needle trying to convince myself I could do it. ETA - and it was never nearly as bad as I made it out to be in my head. Hoping and praying that all the injections are well worth it in a few weeks!
BFP with no treatment!
