Meaning you took the test and then refrigerated it or you bought them and refrigerated them?  Either way, I don't think it would matter.

As far as I know there's almost nothing that will give you a false positive, false negatives are more common and I have no idea if the temp they are stored at could cause that.  I'd take another non-refrigerated test just to be sure.  Good luck!

After googling all I could find was instructions on the dip strip kind of tests that says both the test and the urine should be at room temperature.  Huh?

Really?  Does anyone sit around waiting for their cup o' pee to cool??

Today i showed up for zumba and they were testing out a new class, Nia. It was so lame. First off, don't do a mind/body class when people show up for cardio. and B, Do you know how stupid you feel pretending you're

    1.a mama alligator,

2.fluffing your feathers or breast tissue (she said both at different times when we were supposed to fluff),

3.walking through a busy airport and

    4. my favorite-make your hands teeth, your belly is a tongue and your whole body is mouth. Now, take a bite out of life!!!

We had to walk around barefoot doing said things. Never mind the noises she wanted us to make.

Bwah - my sis teaches Zumba - I'll have to let her know not to surprise her classes with this stuff!  lol.

It wasn't the zumba teacher, it was some new lady they were introducing with a trial class. It was awkward. And no Harmony I did not make the noises. I wasn't even willing to shout my name as a "global introduction." Me and one of the actual zumba teachers kept rolling our eyes, but I guess I insulted the class to the lady who requested it. People kept walking up to the door, looking in and leaving.

Good luck whatever you decide to do!  Just make sure Jack gets in some good motorboating first if you decide on the reduction. Stick out tongue

I've taken nia, but Ive done it intentionally and it was not that wacky at all. Still, I would not be excited had I shown up for zunba. The nia at Niamoves is low impact, but it can still be a workout.

i have just heard the negative stories about people being denied.  i know mine aren't like, crazy monstrous obtrusive... i've seen way worse!

  • A friend from high school/college just sent me an invite to the funeral of his son via FB. His picture is a small baby, less then 6 months old. I didn't even know he had a son. He also only invited 10 people. I can't figure out what happened to the baby either. Poor guy must be a mess and doesn't know what to do with himself, I'm sure I was added by mistake. I can't imagine what he's going through.

That breaks my heart.  Many hugs for them

  • Vent to coworker:

Please do not email me and copy a member of your staff giving me a tongue lashing about not keeping you in the loop on a client request.  I tried to set up a meeting with you regarding said request last week and you blew me off.  You are upset that they come to me on it and go around you but you need to take a moment to reflect and see that from their perspective on a zillion email trails, I am the one doing all the work to evaluate their request/find a solution and all you are doing is 1) rubber stamping it adding no value at all, and 2) taking 2-3 days to do that as it is.

And while we are at it, my team runs circles cleaning up your team?s messes because your team can?t stay on top of certain processes to ensure we remain in compliance.  Nor does your team bring my team into the loop on decisions that we have to evaluate in partnership with the freakin? government, and then you let operations think it is OUR fault it takes 3 months from the time you hand it off.  If you engaged us earlier we would work in parallel process with you so by the time your team was ready to pull the trigger we would have our government reps satisfied with the decision as well.

In summary, stop being an asswipe.

  • I am so incredibly proud of my husband right now for something he is doing.  I think this will be a really good thing.  Sorry for the vaguenesting comment, but I can't put it out here.

  • Harmony, happy hugs for you : )  Big, vague happy hugs.

I am in tears right now.  My cousin, who got married shortly before I started the biz (so like 6 years ago) has been trying to have a baby since the day they got married.  Nothing.  Zip, zilch, nada.  She told me today that she's 10 weeks along with twins, and heard both heartbeats this morning.  Thank you, God.  She lives in Sealy, but I almost want to drive there and give her a hug and do a jumping up and down happy dance for her : )

  • Happy hugs for both Harmony & Jax.  I love hearing good news!!

Agreed.  Very exciting about the twins, Jax.

So my boy had a virus a couple of weeks ago.  Of course with his asthma it has manifested into something else.  He's been getting a ton of breathing treatments, but they aren't helping, so he is back at the doctor today.  I hate this for him.

  • So someone from my old neighborhood growing up made one of those "you know you are from...." groups on FB.  I made fun of these a while back.

I joined mine and it is actually a ton of fun "reminiscing". *hangs head in shame*

I will say, however, that I triedto delete the one post I just made from my wall so that the whole world doesn't need to read it and it won't let me "remove" the post from my wall!  At least I tried....

  • I don't normally post in here but just had to share something. My boss called me into his office today and informed me that I have one week to decide if I want to work full-time or they will find a replacement for me in a couple months! I work part-time and they've always hinted that they eventually want me to go full-time. But they've always said if I want to remain PT they'll be happy with the help they can get. So I was a little shocked this morning to say the least.

I'm not sure I'd be able to find another PT job or if I even want to do that. I enjoyed being a SAHM and hoped to eventually do that again. DH is starting a new job next week with more money and (hopefully!) better hours. So maybe it's a sign...ha! I just have a lot of mixed emotions right now. But I'm not going to work full-time (can barely handle PT!) so staying here isn't an option. Just have to figure out what to do next I guess!
