Dear A.S.H.,
You nearly made me cry with your thoughtful words about me being the only teacher who talks to you guys like adults. Of course, I'm going to write you a letter of recommendation. Just please make sure you pick the Mays School of Business in the end.
Your Teacher
Dear A.S.H.'s Mom,
I cherish our years together as well. I'm definitely going to cry at the end of the school year when it hits me even harder that I will have no more H's, no more J's, and no more T's. It almost makes it easier to think about leaving if I have to.
Your Friendly Teacher
Dear Leslie,
I've had a couple friends with stomach bugs recently, and it seemed to pass in a day or two. Hope he feels better!
Dear My Stomach,
Please don't be getting aforementioned stomach bug.
Dear Sleep,
I miss you.
Dear Eyelash Extension (that I got for my birthday... that I JUST had done last night) -

Dear Husband,
It was really sweet of you to offer to get up with the baby last night.
However, it would have been a lot sweeter if you had actually done it.
Love,
Your Zombie Wife
Hahaha! That's just hilarious!

Dear Chelsea-
Good luck today!
Dear students-
Your help yesterday was greatly appreciated. You guys are just too sweet.
Dear Parenthood-
I know we have a date tonight but I don't know if I will make it.
Dear sun-
It's really hard to wake up in the mornings when you are not staring me in the face.
Dear New Health Care at work
I'm trying to read up and make the right choice. Wish work didn't change everything so I could just select "same as last year" like I did before. Hopefully all the savings will be real.

Dear Nesties,
I am sooo sleepy today. I didn't get home til 9 last night, then ate and hung out on the couch for a bit before bed. I haven't had time to workout lately, so I haven't been sleeping good... it's funny how a 20-minute workout is enough to make me sleep like the dead! Also, I need Thursday to hurry up and get over with - I'm not a fan of deadlines!
-Sleepy Angie
Dear DH,
Thank you for waiting until 9 to eat dinner last night - and having it ready as soon as I walked in the door! I know I always tell you that you don't have to wait for me when I work late, but I think it's reallllllly sweet every single time you do

Dear 100+ Degree Days,
Today is the record-breaking day... so now you can go away until next year. We are all so, so over you!
-sweaty me
Dear Nesties,
I have an extrordinarily long day today, and although it does include the awesomeness of attending the Rangers game in a suite... it involves professional mingling with people that I've never met for several hours.
I'm really just tired and would love to go home and go to sleep.

Oh man, I always find that so exhausting! Have fun at the game!
Dear heartburn,
YOU SUCK!

Dear baby,
You aren't suppose to make me so sick in the 2nd trimester yet I've thrown up more this trimester than the first and I feel sick all the time. Please let me feel better!
-your not so great feeling mommy-
Dear Dana,
I had a really hard time with this, with Dorothy. I felt like I should have felt better in the 2nd Tri, and because I didn't, I felt broken... which just made me more tired, and emotional. Mack finally sat me down and said, "This is your body and your baby and they are different than anything you might have read. Unless something is really wrong, stop stressing yourself out about not being textbook, and just rock with what you've got." Sure enough, a few weeks after I stopped stressing about always being sick, it went away.
No promises that it would work for you, but I found that when I stopped counting down toward something, or comparing myself to a book, I just felt better in general.
The best news is that no one's ever been pregnant forever!

If you need help tell me. This is essential what I do all day!
Dear Guy friend of mine,
Don't destroy your relationship over something stupid. Girl he is dating and old friend of mine! What do you think of my character if you think there is a problem with me talking to your boyfriend. I know you know I got married cause your parents were invited to the wedding. Trust me I am far from a threat, now stop causing unneeded drama in your relationship.

Deepthi -
Thanks!! It really shouldn't be that bad because we only have 2 options, but they have everything the same except that one has more come out per pay with less deductible and the other has less out of your paycheck and a higher deductible. I just don't want to over insure, or under insure.

It depends on your usage. Granted you won't know if you'll need it all the time, but overall how much do you go to the doctor? Have a medical procedure? Use medications? If you are more prone to getting sick the higher per pay with the lower ded is better otherwise the lower pay out with the higher ded is better. Granted you want to make sure you can cover the ded and OOP if something happens or be able to set up a payment plan with the hospital.

Dear Coworker in another state,
Calling me 5 times in a row without leaving a message is not going to make me speak with you any sooner. Leave what you need on my voicemail and I will call you back when I am finished with my current workload and I'm sufficiently prepared to speak with you.
-Annoyed me
Chelsea,
Thank goodness we aren't pregnant forever! I'm not hoping to be "textbook" but I was so excited I didn't have morning sickness during the first trimester and was so relieved when I started the 2nd and thought I made it through pretty easy but this second trimester is kicking my butt. I'm more tired, more emotional, more sick, heartburn from h3ll that won't go away and I'm still not eating much (despite my food attack Sunday night). DH is getting more pushy about eating and "taking care of myself" now because we are farther along and I keep telling him when he gets pregnant he can tell me what to do. I am just annoyed that food doesn't ever sound good and all I eat is Tums and saltine crackers.
Again thank goodness it's only 9 months and I'm almost halfway there!

That's the point that I debate on because I only go for my annual every year (which is 100% covered) and my only med is BC. I've probably been to the doctor only one time outside of my annuals in the past couple of years...but there's always the what if. I'll probably go with one option for 2012 and another in 2013 when we'll start TTC. May be more unplanned doctor trips with that.

Dear Tiffany-
I hate that; only with me it's a client who will call my direct line, then my cell, then call the main line at work, then e-mail me if they are told I'm on the other line... All within 5 minutes of the initial phone call. If it's important, leave a message the first time and I can get back to you a heck of a lot quicker. Patience, grasshopper.
I'm not so good with the advice... Can I interest you in a sarcastic comment?
Lauren,
Definitely go for more coverage when you start ttc. I ended up with $87,000 in hospital bills for me + baby, when I had planned a $3,000 birth center birth. Because of my coverage, I ended up only owing $800 which was less than I would have owed out of pocket for the birth center!
That doesn't even include whatever my every-other-day office visits ran.
Bottom line-- having a baby could be VERY expensive if everything goes wrong! MAKE SURE YOU ARE HEAVILY INSURED.
Speaking as another mother with a NICU baby, I agree it's definitely something to think about. One of the reasons we had Mel when we did was because of the great insurance I had at the time. I don't remember us owing hardly anything and she spent a week in the hospital.

Dear lady-
People only have as much power as you give them. And you wonder why people have complete control over you? Stop giving them that power. Take it away from them.
Dear eye infection,
You are really starting to get on my nerves. I go back to work tomorrow and I cant wear contacts or makeup. I am thankful the pain is gone but this all just seems ridiculous when I have no idea what caused you, and I had to spend almost 250 between Dr and meds.
