Re: Sleepy Monday randoms
Juli...yay for relaxing weekends, sounds great!
Kasa....sounds like a good conversation. Glad you are getting some relief!!
GRSP...Ugh....skunky mint sounds "wonderful". But glad your class is good and the party went well!!
Deeder...Happy Anniversary!!!!
Well, this tired mommy tried to take a nap when N did. He woke up an hour before he normally does. Now he is playing happily on the floor while I take a moment to my tired crabby self. I think Murphy's Law states that if you try to take a nap with your baby, said baby will wake up way too soon. It's gotta be in there somewhere.
I think everyone who lives in Michigan should have to do this at least once. It's a part of our state's heritage and a lot of people "know" about it, but to see those areas is another thing.
The Fulton farmer's market has had Honeycrisps since at least last week! We've been eating them like they're going out of style.
Too funny--I was driving in to work this morning and thought you know, salted caramel apples would be awesome. Then I did a google search and found a recipe for salted caramel apple dip. Now I find out I can buy it already made!
(won't help me use up the vanilla sea salt I bought a year ago though LOL)
Having the dogs being sprayed by skunks is the worst! We have also used the above recipe with good success, although they needed a couple baths to get the smell out. Then Chloe still smelled like skunk for about 6 months afterwards every time we gave her a bath. GL!
It turned out pretty good overall. I like the color a lot -- she did a good job in that department. The cut is okay -- I don't love it or hate it, but it's fine.
The stylist was very young and pretty new I think. She was cute and very nice, but it took her forever to color and cut my hair. I could tell that she was really taking her time because she wanted to do it right, which is a good thing. But, OMG, she was slow! I thought I was never going to get out of there.
I haven't decided yet who I'm going to go to next time. My original stylist who is now working a very limited schedule, but who I like a little more; or the new stylist who is much easier to get into, but I don't like her quite as much although she's still pretty good.
