As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

... that's what's on my mind.
The art we previewed during our weekend downtown seems to be...classier? than years past. I don't know if people are just stepping up the game, but pieces are more fluid, less "WTH is that?" and just seem better in general so far. I don't know if there's a better way to say that.
Facebook needs to knock off the useless changes.

The only change that I found that I like is that I can go on my aunts page, and unsuscribe from her game stories. I used to hide every single game that she played when it came across my newsfeed.

GRKaters, that's interesting about the art. I saw a story on WZZM recently where they talked about how the people/voters tended to vote for more classier/sophistacated/traditional pieces in 2010, compared to 2009. They expected that trend to continue. It sounds like the entries are following that trend too, perhaps.
Sophisticated, yes! No gigantic awkward pigs.

I agree. I hate all of these changes they are making. You would think when they see the negative comments from people, they wouldnt make the changes?
Charity you might want to call them before you go tonight and explain the situation. If a copay is going to be hard for you to come up with, they might be able to work something else out for you: sliding scale, or a payment plan, or something.
I loved the Steampig more as a GR fixture than an artprize entry.

The above link *should* take you to a short video that FB put out about the changes. My friend is a designer for FB and just posted it. I think, judging from the public reaction, my friend better be careful on his way home tonight.
The ticker is weird. It's like spying on all of your friends' activity in a little box.
Really?! Cool job. Someone I work with has a son who works at FB. He was telling me about all of the great perks. Nice gig. He was also saying that apparently it's nearly impossible to get a job there.
Yup, they recruited him, so he must have pretty mad skillz. When we dated, he was driving a cement truck. When Obama went there, he was in the interview room. Recently Oprah was there. He was home sick that day.
I've done the SAME thing, and I've never been on Pinterest!

I haven't been on FB to see the changes yet, but I'll try to see it now and complain later. :-)
I'm excited for ArtPrize - we're supposed to do dinner downtown w/the IL's but I forgot that was going on. Hopefully the restaurants won't be TOO crazy.
I'd make a reservation if you can - last night traffic was already jammed up in downtown!
I might just avoid DT, actually. Bummer because I had 3 restuarants on my list to try, but I'll have to think of something else.
How about the shuttles? I don't know their routes for this year, but could you eat at Twisted Rooster and take the Meijer Garden shuttle downtown? Or something like that?
