Re: SA Wednesday
If I wasnt awake when I got to work I am now. They did fire alarm testing for 20 minutes this morning. We have so many alarms its overkill, and makes you think your ears are going to start bleeding.
I feel queasy this morning... I think I doubled up on my skin-redness medication. I couldn't remember if I took it, so I took possibly a second one, and the whole drive to work I thought I was going to be sick. Taking it on an empty stomach doesn't usually bother me, so I'm guessing that I did take it when I first started getting ready this morning, and then again right before I left. Oops.

I need that kind of vacation too, but it's pretty impossible for us. So, I take mini, sort of relaxing vacations a few times a year, where I restrict my email correspondence to once a day. It's better than nothing!
I hope you find a way to rest! Burn out is the worst.
Sounds like me... even when I'm "off work", I'm not really off. I still get calls and emails. Go international!

The moment you feel like this you should take a vacation!
I'm so tired today. We went to bed around midnight last night and I woke up at my normal 4:30am time which is not enough time at all.
How angry some people get when people get on them about their posts is ridiculous. Why don't they just walk away? Fighting them back is an everlasting battle.

Like the bloggess says (I think) "If you're arguing on the internet, you've already lost."
T-minus one more week until the next kickball season begins! Our team is awful, but we definitely have more fun out there than anyone else. Oh, and our office is closed tomorrow for the Jewish New Year. Woohoo!
"...And he just came out of my imaginary birthday cake." -its apelila
Those of you who watch Raising Hope. Is it just me or does MawMaw seem more "with it" this season. She is still hilarious but she doesn't seem as "senile". Just my random thought of the day.
Little upset the Rangers have a start time of 4:05 on Friday if they have homefield advantage. 4:05 is very hard to do when you get a days notice. Plus my parents aren't off of work by then to watch SD so we can go to the game. I told DH to just find someone else to go with and I'd stay home but he doesn't want to do that so not sure what we will do if Rangers play at 4:05. I think it will be an empty game until around 5:00.

I finally told my students that I'm pregnant today and this really sweet 8th grade boy said, "you need to sit down Miss! From now on you sit at your desk and tell me what you need and I'll bring it to you."
Somedays I love teaching.
And H is totally cracking me up. He keeps calling the babies random twin names. Last week it was Romulous and Remus, and He Man and She Ra. This week so far they've been Zan and jane and Luke and Lea. At some point he's going to run out of twins.

That's it!! I need to go somewhere that doesn't have cell service. Like the middle of nowhere or BFE.
Vacation - me too please. Somewhere far, far away with warm weather and lots of tiki drinks sounds about right to me.
We FINALLY get internet installed at the house tomorrow. Can't believe we had to book it a month in advance. No more camping at Starbucks and the library to do my work (and to come on here).
Vegas tomorrow! I am soooo excited. Except for the fact that I have to be up at 3:30 am. Not too excited about that. I don't plan to think about work for 4 days.
I am sad that we will miss the Rangers games though. Phooey.

How sweet!! Those moments you love being a teacher!
Wonder if he's googling the twin names... If that's the case it may not end!

Yay!!
You could always watch (and bet!) on the Rangers at a Sports book.
Yeah I thought about that.
I am such an overpacker. I just kept staring at my suitcase this morning wondering what else I could put in there. Do I have the right shoes, do I have enough T-shirts, what do I wear on the plane? Ugh. Ben is no better, in fact he might be worse than me.

I do that too... and then I get somewhere, and I only like about 1/3 of what I packed, and the rest of it just stays neatly folded in my suitcase the whole time!
Haha, I usually do this. I packed light for Vegas and I wish I hadn't. Normally, I can wear jeans or shorts more than once if needed.
In Vegas, they stink like smoke if you spend time in the casino at night. That plan didn't work out so well.
ETA:: It is 10:50 am and I am eating my lunch already. It's gonna be a long day.
LOL!!
What shoes did you wear to walk around? I just wanted to wear my flip flops but on TA they say that isn't a good idea. I did last time and I was OK I think.
Of course I've packed about 50 pairs of shoes so it shouldn't be a problem.

I would be right there with you but I have to go get my lunch from the cafeteria and I don't even think they are serving lunch yet.
I wore flip flops the whole time and I was perfectly fine. Just make sure they are comfy ones!
Have fun in Vegas Stephanie! I will be there the first week of December!!
I am super tired today. I stayed up too late making a tutu for my niece's pumpkin patch pictures on Sunday and I still have one more to make! I'm super excited though. I just love being an aunt!
Not me. I say no every time, even to the attorneys. If I bought something from every one, I'd be broke. Plus the stuff is always crap. I hate those things. I don't let Mel participate in them, I just make a donation to the school instead. Especially since it's not Mel that has to do it, it's us. I'm not going to beg my co-workers to buy that overpriced junk.

You are right, it's always the parent doing the work. It was my mistake that I bought Girl Scout cookies when I first came here...thankfully (well I don't know about thankfully) it is always food related.
The neighbor kids constantly hit us up so we have a rule that we buy from the first kid to get to us. Last fundraiser we bought from a kid whose mom isn't very well liked in the neighborhood and got crap about it from the other neighbors. It's ridiculous.
