Molly, I'm sorry to hear about your uncle.  How awful.  I hope he can get into U of M.  My grandpa was there for a bit, and I was super impressed by that hospital.  So much so, that I kind of want to work there somehow, someway.

My new seasonal treat is combining candy corn and apple slices. Tastes very close to a caramel apple, without the mess. 

This is a fascinating idea.  I eat candy corn by the handful and I have an overabundance of apples.  You just sprinkle candy corn over the apples?

 

I'm still developing my technique   But right now, I eat a candy corn, then bite my apple. Eat a candy corn. Bite my apple.

The last day of the season for The Dairy Ranch is Sunday. A few of us walked on over to enjoy some ice cream. It was good.

The last ice cream trip of the season for us was about 3 weeks ago. My new seasonal treat is combining candy corn and apple slices. Tastes very close to a caramel apple, without the mess. 

Oh yum! I'll have to try that. I usually eat my candy corn with dry roasted nuts. It tastes like a Payday.
