Here's the dress. Sorry I don't know how to make it clicky! I got the pink one...although the purple is super pretty too :-)
It's probably an additional 5 minutes to get to the lot, maneuver to find a spot, etc. It's about a 5 minute walk from work hence the 10 minutes. Plus I'm still trying to get used to timing my commute so it's throwing me all out of whack. It was supposed to be a 2 week project and we are going on week 3 and the parking lot doesn't look close to be finished. Fun times with construction.
We were dismantling some weird wood shelving in the basement that the previous owners left. DH was helping me lift the top off and I grabbed right where a nail was poking through. I was wearing gloves so it really just did poke me rather than do any damange but better be safe than sorry. Although my arm would beg to differ.
It's annoying but it really doesn't bother me all that much suprisingly. I grew up with dogs so I'm used to it and I'm rarely in the backyard where it's been happening. DH is pissed because A) he didn't grow up with dogs and
he's the one that mows the yard and has to maneuver around it. I would let DH deal with it but he doesn't necessarily have a lot of tact and considering we are going to be living next door to these people for a long time, I don't want to send him over to do it.
Also I agree with PP that I love the grimace photo - it totally made me giggle as I was scrolling down to see the answers
I'm sure you look beautiful even though you feel like him. He also reminds me of the Hilltopper.

1. We stayed up late last night watching the Lions (way past my usual bedtime!) and I am sooo tired this morning, I could use a cup of coffee!
2. I am going to Florida tomorrow for a long weekend and I am soo excited!
3. I am sick of work lately and need a vacation so I can't wait for tomorrow
4. I had 3 weeks of vacation left to take this year because we've been so busy, so I am taking random weeks off in November and for the holidays. I have no plans but to sit at home...oh well!
5. We are moving to a new office building in January and it looks really nice...I am excited for that too
6. DH and I are finally taking pictures of a mound of old clothes and putting them on ebay...they have been sitting around waiting for like a year and a half so I'm excited to get rid of them (whatever doesn't sell is getting donated)
7. I am still having random morning sickness and I wish it would just go away already!
8. For some reason my dogs have been going outside lately and getting super muddy. I can't figure out how since it hasn't rained for awhile now. Last night we had to lock them out of the bedroom and it was so sad! They always sleep with us
9. We are doing a group Halloween thing for work and I cannot figure out what to dress up as...
10. Coming up with 10 things is really hard!!
1. The weekend was SO BEAUTIFUL! Fall is OK but I?m dreading the cold weather and winter. So I loved the summer flashback!
2. Our due date is next Friday and our baby is still flipping ? one week head down ? the next week breech ? the next back to head down.
3. After each flip I try to prepare myself for labor or c-section only for it to change.
4. I?m starting to feel like I?m on a roller coaster.
5. I?m also getting pretty uncomfortable.
6. I still have a few more things I?d like to get done before baby arrives but all in all ? I?m about over being pregnant.
7. The good news is they announced who will be covering for me at work today. This is a load off my mind!
8. I?d like to create a photo wall in my house and would like to use matching brown frames of different sizes.
9. All I can find is black ? so if you?re bored and want to look for some brown ones, I?ll take suggestions!
10. Everyone talking about their crock pots makes me want to get mine out!
Have you tried Hobby Lobby or Garden Ridge? I think the only ones in MI are near Lakeside but they would more than likely have a good selection.
That's wild that the baby is still flipping, I can only imagine how weird that would feel, especially since I am sure h/she is running out of room! Keeping my fingers cross that the baby stays head down!!!
I only got the driveway raked. I still have to do the actual yard. I will attempt that today.
I have pictures of the blankets in my blog. Link is in my siggy. Once I finish the gingerbread house, Ill post a picture of that on the blog as well. Might be a bit though, because all the candy pieces for it are crocheted seperately and then glued on the house.

1. I like to read everyone else's responses before I give mine, but I don't have time today.
2. I had Kirkland Chicken Tortilla Soup for lunch. It is pretty good. Sufficiently spicy.
3. FI's 35th birthday is this weekend. I like to make him feel old because I'm still 29.
4. I tried to book something for his birthday, like a night in a casino hotel around here, but the universe conspired against me. Apparently EVERYTHING that can be happening in Detroit on Saturday night probably will be.
5. I have been stumped as to what else to plan for his birthday (he opted for "experience" vs. "stuff")...until today. I just made reservations for dinner at the Dirty Dog Jazz Cafe in Grosse Point. He likes jazz and we both like to eat good food. I think this is a good compromise because we haven't gone yet. It's kind of expensive.
6. The zit that I was worried about before our engagement pictures stayed hidden (thank God), but now it is back with a vengeance. Ouch!
7. FI thinks the reappearance of the zit is funny. (I don't often have this "big" of an issue. lol) He started talking to it this morning. I wanted to smack him.
8. I want to go to a cider mill this weekend. The weather better cooperate.
9. I am booking apartments/hotels for our honeymoon next year. Just to be safe, I called the credit card company to give them the heads up. They made a "notation in the file."
10. I just got a call from the Capital One Fraud Department questioning one of the charges. Idiots.
1. I don't get on the computer until later in the day on Tues. because of bible study.
2. It's nice to not always be on, but I do miss talking to you guys.
3. I love this weather, I wish DS didn't need a nap so I could take them out walking right now.
4. I will not mess w/nap time for a 16 month old, or I will pay later on tonight.
5. I'll just have to do it after dinner, before the sun goes down.
6. I'm not liking the sun going down earlier & earlier, & earlier.....
7. The Tigers better win tonight, enough said!
8. Even though I'm a Bears fan, I wasn't bummed that they lost to the Lions last night, it's good for Detroit.
9. DH wasn't happy when I said #8 to him.
10. I need to do things indoors, but may push it off to tomorrow & sit on the deck and read.
