If you have a Keurig

Where do you get your K-cups?  I usually order mine off of the Keurig website. There are so many sites that carry K-cups, but I never know if they are legit or not.  I'm just trying to get the best deal possible because we seem to go through them pretty fast.  BF is now hooked on a certain brand and of course that brand is never carried in stores, only online.

  • Amazon because I'm lazy and they have free shipping.  I don't think they are the best price though.

    We're kind of going out.
  • Amazon, BB&B, or Target.
  • Someone at work has a W.B. Mason account and they are $9 for a 24 pack, so a bunch of us do that.
  • I usually get them at Bed, Bath, & Beyond.

    That's a really good price!

I wish I had a connection like that.  Best I've done is 30% off on top of the sale price at Kohl's.

That's where I used to order them from for my old office. Great deal and they have a good selection.

  • I usually get them on Amazon (prime free shipping to which is awesome) but this WB Mason has me curious, that is a much better price than what i pay. I think it is around $30 for 50 kcups. Donut shop coffee. love it

  • We recently stopped getting them from Keurig...

    Target, Bed Bath.....

  • I get mine at the grocery store mostly.  But I invested in one of the metal re-usable filters so I hardly buy K-cups anymore.  Much cheaper that way.

I have the My K-cup filter and do not care for the coffee at all.  It's really weak, IMO.

Do you get a certain grind of coffee for it that makes it taste better?

Lurker here, but I love my coffee!  Solofill reusable filter (the my k-cups are terrible), Starbucks beans, have them do a french press grind in the store or coarsely ground at home.  The solofill cup was $15 at Bed Bath and Beyond.

I actually have the solofill filter too and it is slightly better than the My K-cup.  I'm still not overly impressed with the coffee made from it.  I even use the 5 oz setting on my Keurig.  I will have to check into the French press grind.  I would actually prefer to use my own coffee if I can find a way to make it taste as good as the k-cups.

Definitely try a coarser grind.  If the grind is too fine I think the water channels through the coffee and doesn't pick up most of the flavor.

  • I usually get them at Target, but I got a huge case at Costco for pretty cheap. Do you have the Keurig Platinum? It has 5 different cup sizes so you can make it stronger. I also have the metal reusable basket, but it never seems to taste as good. Apparently I am incapable of making coffee that involves measuring of any kind.

Yes, I have the Platinum.  I brew everything on the 5.25 oz (I think that's it) setting. The only time I use the smaller oz size is when I brew iced coffee.  For the K-cups it's the perfect size.  Any smaller and I'll have to brew 3 cups to get a decent amount of coffee!

  • Target carries the Folgers flavor I like.  I also go to Bed Bath and Beyond and use the 20% off coupons.
  • I get mine at Walmart, or the locally owned grocery store.  My Walmart carries some varieties of Green Mountain, Gloria Jean's, and I think a couple other brands.

  • I JUST got my Keurig so I've only purchased K-cups once so far.  But I think BB&B with the 20% off coupon will be the way we go.
