This guys made "real life" renderings of the Disney princesses. They look amazing, I would love to print them off and hang them.

    That is so cool!

I have lost another pound!  Yay!  All it took was actually eating healthy again and being consistent with my exercise.  Imagine that! :-p

I was actually excited that it was going to be cold tomorrow, but then I saw it was going to rain.  I don't like it being cold and rainy!

Also, my phone has been randomnly restarting itself.  I could be doing anything (sending a text, taking a picture, browsing the internet) and it will restart or turn itself off.  Then I have a hard time getting it to come back on.  I took it to the AT&T store, but they said they couldn't help me and I have to call this other number.  Really?  I bought the phone there...I don't see why they couldn't try to help at least!

What I think is going on with most phone stores is that, since someone else makes it, if they work on it, it voids the warranty.  It's like buying a refrigerator from Best Buy.  In the first year, they won't work on it because it's still under warranty from Whirlpool and it will void that warranty.  Also, I don't think that those guys who sell the phones are all that knowledgeable on how to do anything other than a few things that troubleshoot.  In all honesty, I would rather someone with some true technical knowledge work on my phone than someone like my FIL.  He would take it apart, say he doesn't know what's wrong and then try to put it back together and have half the parts still out before he gives up.

Today, four years ago, some guy went to a football game with me.

Today, this same guy gave me a beautiful necklace this morning but it's on a 16 inch chain.  It's almost like a locket, it's pretty big, so I don't understand why they would put something so big on such a short chain.

  • I love cold and rain.  I will echo Brianna's earlier statement about the changing weather, though.  Example: Today I am wearing a skirt and a short sleeve sweater.  Tomorrow I will probably wear dress pants and a cowl neck sweater.  I predict I will have a cold by Friday.
  • UTA is so frustrating. I called on Monday to schedule a meeting with my advisor. They scheduled me for today at 8. I left my house an hour early, got here at 7:45, checked in and sat down. At 8:30 I started to get worried about making my 9am class. I go to the desk and am told my advisor won't be in until 10 because she is working evening hours today. This is the same person who checked me in 30 minutes ago.

I now have an appointment at 5, during which I am supposed to be at a study group for a test I have at 7. This is so agitating.

  • I bought Honey Crisp Apples that are seriously enormous! I can't wait to take a bite! YUM!

    Beautiful Disney pics!

Julie, that's sweet of him!  Is it a chunky necklace like this one?  I think it they are pretty! Are you considering getting a longer chain?

  • I went to boot camp this morning. Lots of wall sits and lat pulls. My arms are jelly. But I WENT, so I feel pretty good.

  • I have a theory - I went to the Rangers game on Saturday and it was a terrible game. (We had a LOT of fun though - the stadium is fantastic!). I didn't watch on Sunday or Monday and we won both!!

SOOOO, I will not watch tonight and hopefully we'll win again. That's a sacrifice I'm willing to make so the Rangers can win the World Series. Big Smile

    Yes  Yes

Two thumbs up for not only going, but going to the MORNING class. I have great respect for people who are able to pull themselves out of bed to work out.

Haha! Thanks ladies. It even rained on the way, and I didn't use that as an excuse to go home. The encouragement yesterday really did help. I was able to do a wall sit for 2 solid minutes this morning, which would have been impossible when I started this workout... so I'm pretty proud of myself!

This is what happened to us during the Mavs Championship games. I was so dissappointed I couldn't watch them and everyone said me watching has nothing to do with the outcome, but you can't help it.

Julie, how sweet!! It's easy to change out the chain and it's so cute of him.

  • I know that it's easy (and it's a very delicate chain) but it's the extra cost.  It's the kind of thing that should be on a longer chain as it is.  Oh well.  I'll post a picture on FB later so you guys can see it.  I really love it!!!!
  • Yay Chelsea for going to bootcamp and on the 2 min wall sits, thats awesome!

I have decided I have got to find a way to not worry so much about things that I cannot control (even though I am involved). In addition to loss of sleep and crying, I broke out in hives yesterday because of stress over a situation I am aware of/ in the middle of.

One of my strengths is that I care for people but because I care I then feel invested when things go wrong.

I cant talk to anyone about this really except Matt and he just doesnt get it.Sad

I can absolutely relate to this.  DH doesn't get it, either.

I hope that whatever it is resolves itself soon!

  • Julie  - How sweet of your DH!  Hope you're able to get a chain that works better with it.

BL - I echo Tiffany in hoping the situation resolves itself soon!

I walked around the apartment the other day and was a little overwhelmed with the amount of stuff we have.  I'm trying to tackle little areas each day so the packing won't kill me.

  • Matt's out of town and I hate staying alone. I normally stay with my parents when he is out of town. Now they are going out of town. lovely.

  • Chelsea - Congrats!

Lauren - You never realize how much stuff you have until you start packing.

Courtney - I was at home alone last night and freaked out. It doesn't help I watched Paranormal Activity 3 on Monday night. That was just an evening I don't know what I would do if it was a week. I think I would force my sister to stay with me.

I know it sounds dorky but I get to have lunch with my BIL today! He's a 4th year med student doing his rotation at our hospital.. we get along really well and it'll be fun to have lunch with him. Wow that sounds really stupid.

We are moving next month.  I am not looking forward to the packing.  Blah.

A family friend is going through a rough patch. I've been hanging out over there to be supportive and someone to talk to. She loves scary things and I can't stand them. We started watching American Horror Story. It's not scary scary, but just enough to freak me out when I turn my back.

Very sweet of you! I love scary movies but I pay for it. Seems like I've become more of a wimp lately and I may start backing off on them now.

I love scary movies, too, but I feel the same way.  I'm starting to become a wimp, too.  How was Paranormal Activity 3?  It's about the sisters when they were little, right?

It was ok. They didn't show any of the scenes from the previews in the actual movie, but it still had you freaked out. There were a few spots were I just wished the movie would end mostly because I was scared. The first two were better though.

Lauren - You never realize how much stuff you have until you start packing.

    Seriously!!

Lacey - I'm right there with you!  We're planning on making it on our own (with my family's help) - but packing these boxes has me wondering if I can justify movers.

  • To the ladies that are moving- living social has a moving deal
  • Julie - I can't wait to see the pic!  I'm sure it's beautiful!

BL - I hope that things work out the best way they should for whatever you're situation is.  I hope you can try to relax some and get rid of those hives.  They can be hard to deal with.  My mom broke out in them really bad from stressing & got a steriod + cortisone shot to ease them.  Good vibes coming your way.

We have way too much stuff.  Plus, we have a washer and a dryer, so we always use movers.  They are just way too heavy.

Deepthi - Oh that's good to know.  I liked the first one a lot, the second one was okay, but if the third one isn't any better than the second one, then I might not even bother.

DH and I decided to go somewhere to watch the game tonight but then I got to thinking of how well they do when we watch vs. when we don't watch.  I'm still going, though.

It is resolving itself, its just not the way I would like and leaves me filled with all kinds of emotions including anger, sadness, and guilt.

Its one of those things where I just want to talk through it with someone who will understand but I cant.  Matt made some good points that help some but also some points that pissed me off.

  • Uh oh, if the Rangers lose it is on Jaymi's head!! ;-)
