Yes you heard my eyes roll.
I forgot to put my pants in the dryer last night and the 30 minutes I had this morning did not dry them very much but at least they were not dripping water! And no I could not get another pair of pants because I washed all of them at the same time- I've been a messy person the last week. They are mostly dry now though.
For some reason, sitting at my desk is torture this morning. I want to be moving.
Julie - I always wear short chains, but I'm really short so that's probably why. But it does bother me to have a delicate chain with a big pendant.
Deepthi - I don't think it's dumb for you to be excited about having lunch with your brother! My sister is one of my best friends, I'm always happy to hang out with her, and I live with her!
Bobbileigh - I'm so sorry you're having to deal with this. I hope you're able to make some peace with it soon.
You. Guys. This morning a new music librarian job was posted for UNT. This is what I've been waiting for. I don't know what my chances are of getting it, but I am super nervous and I haven't even applied! Y'all know DH and I love Denton and so want to move back. I'm going to try to not get my hopes up, but I know that I probably will anyway!

I found out that my old assistant came back from maternity leave for four weeks, demanded a raise since she now had more kids, got the raise, stayed four more weeks and then quit. I'm glad I am not still her boss, that would not have been easy for me to be pleasant about.

That's fine because when they win, I'll get all the credit. I'm pretty sure it was my fault they lost last year too.
Do you guys know any girls who once the got their e-ring had tunnel vision and could talk about nothing but getting married? Every conversation would turn into a conversation about their wedding, no matter how inappropriate the transition might have been? I have decided these same girls get the same problem when they get pregnant...and they need to stfu.

Leslie, I am all for pregnancy and all that jazz but some people can be ridiculous I had a teammate at a previous job who would insist I touch her belly to feel it kick and was offended when I wouldnt.

Leslie, OMG yes I totally know what you mean! One girl I'm friends with on FB, posts constantly throughout the day and most of it leaves you guessing. She is totally one of those types though! Drives me nuts.

YES! I think that it has a lot to do with being insecure. They don't necessarily know how to converse, and feel like they have to constantly prove just how "amazing" and "fantastic" they are, their life is, their husband is, blah blah blah.
That or they're narcissists.
Totally! When I get pregnant I don't want people touching my belly. I think that one thing that's going to annoy me the most about pregnancy.

Since real yellow topaz is so expensive (and kind of hard to come by), it's citrine. Someday, I hope to get a real piece of topaz.
I love Pinterest but if they don't get some better servers or something, we are over.
My iPhone app hasn't worked forever and now the actual website is all buggy. 404 errors and server overload messages galore.
Please Pinterest, stop being jacked up! I need to be pinning things!

I haven't gotten into Pinterest like I thought I would (as in, I came up with a list of potential boards and haven't even created them). I think it's because I know that I would find myself in a downward spiral of pinning and repinning and pinning and repinning and never come up for air, lol.
