We survived our trip to the Children's Musuem. We did good until the end and then they hit a brick wall  (literally). Allison threw a temper tamtrum at the bubble area and then Amelia didn't want to leave the craft area. I knew my time was up at the meter so I'm trying to get all of us out as quickly as we can. As we were leaving, Mia ran in front of Allison, tripping her and causing Allison to fall head first into the glass door and brick wall.  Luckily no blood and brusing (as I see now). So there I have one kid on the floor bawling, another kid headed out the door and a pile of art project strewn across the floor.  Thank goodness for a nice worker who came to help me.  Ladie is you ever see a mom struggle and you have a minute, offer some help and a kind smile. It does a world of good.

I think Allison and I will do movie time during her nap. She appears to be fine, but just in case, I don't to put her down for a nap.

I admit this story made my kind of giggle.  It kind of reminds me of interactions between my older brother and I when we were little (we're 18 months apart).

I'm really excited to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade tomorrow.

    Have you watched it lately?

Last year, I made a very big deal out of the parade with the girls. I talked about it the day prior, l told them we could stay in our PJs, I put blankets and pillows out, and snacks. It was so exciting...until the parade started.  Holy cheesy TV hosts, musicals, and commericals every three minutes.  It seemed like they barely showed the parade. It wasn't kid friendly, which cracks me up. I said that the Nick Jr. station needs to show a child friendly parade.
