I went shopping last night and scored some serious deals! I bought a fantastic dress for Nick's company Christmas party from Macy's with the friends and family savings pass for $39! I then bought some socks for R at Old Navy and Children's Place for $4 total. I then bought a Christmas ornament from Pottery Barn for an exchange for $7.40. I love bargain shopping!
Re: Thursday Randoms
Awesome!
It's December. Can you believe it? December already.
HA!
Eek. Yeah, definitely did not notice that, and I'm definitely not pregnant.
Sweet! I just bought T 20 pair from ON for $12.50 and thought I did good.
He loses socks like it's his job.
We don't have a problem with losing them yet, but I have a hard time finding socks that stay on her feet. I tried Target ones, and they suck. I do have 3 pair I got as a shower gift and I LOVE them, but I have no idea where they came from.
TCP are the main socks that we have used up until this point. I really like them.
Baby socks are a total pain, they never stayed on Ben's feet as a baby, and now he takes them off and hides them on me. So annoying!
Weird that it's December and we've only had a tiny bit of snow. I don't mind though.
I'm leaving Saturday morning for Chicago with my best friend and her mom. She surprised us with the trip, and tickets to Second City Saturday night. I'm SO excited, but have no idea what to wear...help!
Yay for bargain shopping.
Baby socks make me glad we're done with babies. The sock drawer is annoying. I feel like I have to have both kids try on every pair of socks in there so we know what fits and what doesn't, and purge.
We had someone knock at our door at 8 am, asking for money.
Last night, we went on a double date (hee hee, yeah, I'm calling it that) and had a great time.
I have not tried them. I've had a hard time finding Carter's socks. Everywhere I look they only seem to have NB and toddler size, nothing in between.
I super duper love my Keurig. Totally worth making room on your counter for
Amachuta! Beautiful siggy pic!
Wop, nice shopping finds! Great job.
I was going to post the same. Super cute!
I discovered 6.25 Paper Studio (one of the MoDiv shops) last night.
I think my inner-nerd came out as I drooled over all of the awesome/creative/beautiful paper products and other goods. I love that place! They've got some really neat stuff.
My starting to put up my holiday decor. Yesterday I put out our wreath and our neighbor across the street was doing the same. He said I and I said "I think I have wreath envy." His is a huge evergreen wreath with a bright red bow. Mine is a smaller one that my Mom made. The neighbor said he liked mine better.
After we collect rent checks for December, it will mark the end of our first full calendar year of being landlords.
We plan on celebrating by picking up a new storm door for one of the rentals at Home Depot, and also going up into the attic to fix a vent.
Exactly how I wanted to spend my Thursday night!
Hehe.
Love it!
Ha! No, thank goodness it's not one of each.
I really need to turn on the light when I'm putting on my shoes. LOL!
T would point at the lights and say "hot!". This was awesome at first, because he stayed away from the tree.
He has since discovered that they are not hot, and has already broken a few ornaments. Hehe. Good times.
