What kind of jobs are you looking for? Maybe someone here has a lead?

My background is in training, digital advertising (more management then actual sales), SEO/SEM, and business development. DH's background is heavily social services - he has 13 years of experience working with sex offenders, has been a correctional officer and done investigative work. He was also a retail manager, and has lots of experience in loss prevention. We're looking for anything that pays more then the gas it costs us to get there!

HUGE hugs to you. I have been in tight financial situations, but nothing like yours, and I can only imagine how stressed out you must feel. What size is your DD in? Do you need anything for her? I have bunches of girl clothes that my daughter isn't big enough for (lots of nieces passed them along).

I know I'm not really a "regular" here, but I would be willing to help you guys too.  I don't really know of any job prospects off hand, but if you need food or gas or bill money, every little bit helps.  We've been in your situation before and it is awful, so I completely understand.  If anybody ends up organizing something please let me know - I'm only facebook friends with maybe 2 of you all but a PM or email or something works.

Between DH and I we have a whole bunch of Frontier and United FF miles if that would help.  I don't think we'll ever use them, so I'd be very happy to buy your DH a ticket or hotel room with them.

We are really ok on clothes - DD has more clothing then she can wear thanks to my mom & SIL. Thank you so much, though! Luckily, my parents are quick to get anything DD needs. I appreciate the offer though!

After being unemployed for several months this past year, I understand the stress that goes along with it and can only imagine how stressful to have both you and your dh unemployed at same time.
