? If you've used the no bake lasagna noodles

I used them last month and was surprised how good they were, I never thought it would "work".  I want to prep a lasagna tomorrow morning for Thursday night, can I do that with those noodles?

Re: ? If you've used the no bake lasagna noodles

  • Why not cook it after you prep it, then keep it in the fridge and reheat when you're ready to serve it?  I think lasagna is usually better the day after anyway :)

Depending on what kind of lasagna you're making, I'm not sure if raw noodles would be okay to prep and leave with all the fillings...I kind of picture the sauce running out, cheese not "sticking", etc...know what I mean?

  • I totally get what you're saying about it not sitting together well, those noodles are so hard!  I was just making regular lasagna (meatless) with spinach.  I have to leave at 9 tomorrow so not sure if I have time to bake it but that is a good idea.  I'll try to get to it first thing....seeing how my daughter loves to get up at 5 am I should have hours.... ;)

  • I've prepped in advance with them and never had a problem. Yum!

  • I always prep my lasagna the day before, but I never use no bbake noodles - I use just regular noodles and ensure that I use enough sauce.  It does take a little longer to cook - more like 2 hours, but it is perfect each time.
  • yes, just make sure you're generous w/the sauce.

yes, exactly...I'm sure it'll work out okay either way, but I'd still bake ahead.
