Surgery tomorrow to remove IUD
It has drifted off into my pelvic area! Today I had two ultrasounds and an x-ray. Tomorrow at 11:30am I go under and my OB will retrieve it..... Please say a little prayer that all goes well!
I'm so happy the Nest is back!

I think the OB (my OB's partner) perforated my uterus when she put it in. I'm not sure, but how else does it get out?!

oh jeez! lots of vibes they fix the perforation and you're able to keep using it (a new one probably). I plan on doing Mirena after the baby comes too.
Yikes.
I swear Liz if you every get these odds for something good, you should start playing the lotto.
I hope you feel better soon!
oh my! Good Luck tomorrow!
I think your ugly flower room pic broke the nest! hahaha
OMG Liz..didn't you just have that thing put in? I keep going back and forth between wanting to get mirena or not..this may seal the deal for me...no way. there seems to be more bad stories about it than good on here. I think I'd rather have my tubes tied.
Good luck tomorrow and I hope you feel better ASAP. And don't worry about your MIL!
Thanks so much ladies!
Liz, I have the worst luck with all things OB related!! My doctor actually hugged me today.
That stinks, hope you are OK soon
I actually sell one of the iuds and have one myself (my competition haha). I was going to say that the doctor must have pushed it into your uterus since it happened so fast. Sometimes after many years of them being in, they can kind of grow in, but since you had pain immediately, she must have perforated, like you said. One of the iuds you push to insert and the other you pull back on during insertion...maybe she did opposite. Or she could have measured you wrong. At any rate, I hope the removal is quick and you are back to feeling better very soon!
