Could you live in this place?
Re: Could you live in this place?
Yes, it's cute.
Just make sure you have a comfortable couch for the nights you are intoxicated and can't get up the ladder. ;P
Daycare is SO exhausting!
Blog
yep!
I really like it actually. But to be honest - I dream of being a minimalist.
most definitely. i had a place a bit like this once. it was great. i felt like one of those uber efficient european types living in a little ikea floor model.
lack of roommates is always good, especially since you have a real job and plenty of local friends.
HELL YEA.
That is really cool!
Signed,
My roommate is my landlord and all the toilets in the house have been broken for at least two weeks now
For only $600 a month? In Fells Point?
Hell YES I could live there.
Updated September 2012.
i could. i like it. roommates are great if they are awesome. but you can't find that out until you live with them. and if i was living alone, i don't see any reason why i would need an enclosed bedroom. I like the idea of the loft, so that the bed isn't in your kitchen (as it is in most studios).
I could. I like it a lot (in spite of the tiny kitchen).
The ladder to the loft would be difficult if tipsy.
I just emailed.
I am still at my parents. I'd have to get a part-time job to afford this.
But I think it would be worth it.
The only thing that bugs me is the kitchen. I realize it's perfect for that space, but wow, is that TINY. The only counter space is in the corner!

Yes!
I lived a studio in college. What you posted is so much better because your bedroom is not on show for anyone that comes over.
so you put a big wooden cutting board over the sink. done!
Yes! What a cute place. And get a cutting board for over the sink. I had. A studio for several years in law school and after a nd loved it.
So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.
My Blog
Yep. I love Fells Point.
Totally!
Buy an ikea coffee table you won't care about, and that way you can sit in front of the tv and use that area as your prep space. That's what I did when I lived somewhere itsy bitsy and it worked fine.
