  • Yes.  I have an American accent with some british diction choices.
  • Mine is a mix of country twang and Chicaaaaago. Attractive.

J, I didn't get the country twang at all. It was way Chicago.

But your MN/Fargo accent is impeccable.

    I like privacy. A lot.
  • I'm from California and moved to Texas when I was 14. Everyone here says I sound valley girl and everyone in California says I sound southern.

Interestingly, my H who grew up in a small Texas town has absolutely no accent. He has a total newscaster voice, which is weird because his dad and brother definitely have a heavy southern accent. Weird.

    I have a California Accent

Aka the most awesome accent ever

I'm convinced californians don't have accents. no seriously. it's everyone else.

and yes, I'm from california.  :)

  • I think I have a typical American accent.  I think I grew up far enough in the burbs to not have a philly accent.

Gosh, nooooo. Minnesoooootans don't have an accent, don'cha know.
  • I don't think I have an accent of any kind, really.  Although when I first moved to Tennessee, people kept telling me I needed to stop talking so fast.

    When I get drunk, I affect a Tennessee drawl b/c it's fun.

I don't think c_joy has an accent.  I kept waiting for people to start speaking Minnesoter when I went up there, but nobody really did and I hate you all a little bit for it.

  • Kind of?

    I just talk funny. I can't say "L" when it is followed by a "T" or a "D."

    I kind of sounds Pennsylvania.

Oh, and people in Iowa think I say Wisconsin funny.

  • I have never been told that I have an accent so I am guessing mine is typical American also.

In my family we do like to say fuuuuuuuck yoooou and pretend that we have Boston accents.  I am sure it started after watching some matt damon movie.

  • I'm from the midwest, so I'm more or less accentless.  Every now and again I will catch a Minnesoooota "o" or an Iowa super wide vowel: bad becomes bay-ad, but not often.
