What is your worst nightmare?

Re: What is your worst nightmare?

  • Im not afraid of real life stuff, I can rationalize my way through that.  The stuff that scares me is stuff in horror movies: paranormal activity, demonic posession (exorcist type stuff), rec/quarentine type stuff or 28 days later.  I feel like I can DO stuff in normal situations, I have some control but all this weird stuff I wouldnt be able to protect myself and it scares the crap out of me.

Someone crawling around in my house. I don't know how to explain that haha but some of my worst nightmares involved me turning around to find someone slowly crawling towards me. Omg scares the shiit out of me.

ack! now I'm all creeped out. One time H and I saw this documentary about these people  who walk around on all fours, and for awhile after that he kept doing it just to freak me out. assshole.

Being shot in the chest, burning alive or drowning.

    Being shot in the chest?

  • Killer dolls or someone waiting in our giant, dark parking lot and attacking me when I walk to my car after work.

Bonus scary points if it's a killer doll waiting in the parking lot.

  • I know its way late in this thread and probably no one will see this but DHs cousin has a storage shed on their property thats filled with old kids stuff.  They have three girls and there are ROWS of dolls in the windows. Staring.  That shed might be my worst nightmare.

  • I agree with  a plane crash. I flew hundreds of times before I was 20 and it never bothered me. I saw the movie Alive, and that total screwed with my head. I need drugs and alcohol when I fly.

I'm afraid of home invasions and or being kidnapped and tortured.

I also have a fear of being both blind and deaf. ::::shivers::::

Has anyone seen the movie "When a Stranger Calls"? That's seriously been my fear since I started baby-sitting at 12. I was always scared that I'd answer the phone and there would be someone watching me outside or someone in the house.

    ME TOO!

I cannot believe my parents let me watch that when I was like, 8. The first 15 minutes of that movie are terrifying, then they wheel the kids out in body bags. omg.

Red Dawn was another movie I saw as a child that totally effed me up.

being pushed by a psycho in front of the metro (variations include this happening to my kids)

I'm scared of this too...there are so many people here and they push and shove to get on the train-it can get really aggressive.

Thankfully, it's the kind of metro that has floor-to-ceiling doors that open when the train comes, so it's now possible.
