OMG, you are so much fun. If you lived closer I'd want to be drinking buddies. You have great energy. Insult? I guess I'll say you are very outspoken. But I like outspoken and am myself so I don't really consider that a negative attribute.

Option A- live with my parents indefinitely, since I can't file for divorce until November and I'll at least be paying the mortgage until then, but probably past then as well

Option B- get a part-time waitressing job and move out, most likely living with a roommate or two.

I'll be 30 in June.  I've never lived on my own, with roommates or not.  I went right from my parents to living with xh.  I'm dying to get out on my own.  But, I feel slightly ridiculous waiting tables considering the money I make at my full-time job. 

Option B. You need to be on your own, and waitressing is fun (for a while). Get a month-to-month lease and if you can't hack it, move back home. But you need to assert your independence!

also, i bought the flat iron you suggested. i've only used it once, but so far i LOVE it. it heats super fast and really did smooth my hair out as it straightened. so, thanks for the rec!

Option A. I am not anti-living with parents. Especially if you have a private bathroom and some privacy there.  Don't wait tables.
