What'd you do today?
We went househunting this morning/mid-day.
Checked out and ate at the WF in Fairfield it is so nice, Claudius is right, much nicer than Darien.
Played at Sherwood Island.
And then while the kids napped drove back by a couple of homes and considered them again.
Now home, kids eating yogurts prior to din din.
Re: What'd you do today?
Slept in (we went out to dinner with friends last night so S was at the IL's).
Woke up and made coffee, showered and dressed and went to pick up S. Visited with the IL's for a couple of hours then went to eat Mongolian food. I'm now at home watching a Kevin Hart comedy special, blogging and drinking a vodka and diet sprite. I'm anxiously awaiting for Mad Men to come on. I think when this comedy special is over, I'm going to do a Mad Men marathon.
Homework while h and j ran errands
Rearranged the boys room to fit the bed and crib. I just sat there and bossed lol.

took the boys on a bike/stroller ride ot the playground
now we're home. i have to do dinner and laundry and all that crap before dh gets home so he can do bathtime

Woke up at 5:30.
Laid in bed for an hour and a half trying to go back to sleep.
Fed the cats at 7:00.
Went back to bed until 10:30. Which was awesome.

Tidied up just a bit to make myself feel like I accomplished something today.

Got up at 6 with Jackson and hung out. He was so loud today DH woke up at 8 and we all went to the Waffle House for breakfast.

Our friends came over at 1 for a cookout and just left a half an hour ago. It was such a nice day.
Daycare is SO exhausting!

Threw kids in the car and drove to my parents house (they still I've in the town I grew up in on the coast)
Hung out at their house and then went to lunch at an ol five of a restaurant
Home for naps and I headed out to my favorite fabric store
Endulged in fabric porn for a good hour and walked out with several yards of material that I have no plans for yet
Back at my parents waiting for everyone to wake up
Also, we went to an open house for this property<---well out of our price range.

ran 5 miles this morning, then worked on the house for a while, while praying not to be called in to work. I took the dogs for a longish walk (about 3 miles) and then went grocery shopping.
now I am finishing all the pizza and chocolate in my house before starting my clean eating diet tomorrow. I'm also drinking.

Cleaned out a closet, did some dishes, walked the dogs and a whole lot of nothing. It was delightful.
ts daycare fundraiser. dh cooked and i did board member things. the auction was over and cleaned up just before it began to rain. i helped count the money, came home and tried for a bit of a nap.
its raining and dh is going out to do chores. t thinks the house needs cleaned, so im going to clean a little and try for some relaxation.

I'm planning on being pretty lazy for the rest of the evening. Sanding wood by hand really wears a girl out.
That house is so beautiful. I'd have to redo those kitchen cabinets, though.
I went to a first communion reception with a few friends from work. OMG the food was so good and the place was absolutely gorgeous.
I'm still full from it and it was at 11:30 this morning.
I also picked up a few things from Target.
Now I'm about to clean the dinner dishes from the girls and fold laundry.
Aside from the typical newborn stuff, I cleaned the shower and gave Bailey a bath. And H and I watched Shawshank Redemption, which I had never seen and still only saw bits and pieces of. But from what I saw, it was good!

Milford WF is supposed to be nicer than Darien. I haven't been to either though, so I really can't comment!
We had a swimming lesson, were visiting family, hanging at the horse farm, playing with dogs all day long. Nice day.
It was so beautiful out for a change.
Took G out for coffee and breakfast.
Did a paint consultation for an acquaintance's new business
Walked with G to the park
Came home for lunch and a glorious nap
G and I both had baths
Had dinner, salad for me, random stuff for G.
Tonight I'm going to read on my deck and drink wine.
Milford WF isn't as nice. The nicest is Fairfield, then Darien, then Milford, then Greenwich.
Not a lot, I'm the only person I know that didn't run the local 10k this morning. Up at 8, drank coffee on the couch with the best, fb, and tv until 11.. Oops!
Mowed the lawn, fixed my bed for the third time since I bought the frame 2 years ago.. Swifter vac'd the floors. Play with the dog A LOT. Worker out (living the 30 day shred again!). Made hot dogs for dinner cuz I'm still a child. Just cracked a beer, contemplating doing my nails or waxing my legs..
breakfast out. i had grits and some pancake. hurray for minor chewing!

came home to discovery my pool, under the leaf cover, had bloomed into a cesspool of epic proportion. had a meltdown. called emergency pool guy. shocked the pool, twice. awaiting what horrors the next 48 hours will bring. contemplating stealth mission to kill vendor of pisspoor leaf cover.
got an annoying email from relatives. proceeded to massively overreact on here about it.
had a nice time with L (dinner, walking around, bath).
came downstairs to discover leak. shut of relevant water sources (shower not included, thank goodness). researched plumbers. contemplated which organs to sell in order to afford pool fixing and major plumbing work.
opened this poll. cried a little.

got up with C. made her breakfast. took a shower/did my hair while she was eating with H. LOVE my new flat iron. i've been playing with my hair all day.
took a family trip to toys-r-us. bought C a climber/slide for the backyard. apparently, this will take a lot more work than just assembling and plopping in the yard. H has a plan...went to lunch and costco.
got home, C took a nap.
gathered her up post nap to go to the grocery store while some people came to look at our house (fingers crossed!!). back home.
taco night! then bath and bed for C. H and i are watching MI3: Ghost Protocol.
