Poll - A personal question about love and hate
Do you have someone in your life that you hate?
Reading posts about the fine, fine line between love and hate today and wondering how many peeps have someone they actively (or passively) hate in their life.
Re: Poll - A personal question about love and hate
There are people who piss me off on the regular and I wouldn't choose to hang out with them super often, but I don't think I know anyone personally that I actively hate.
There is no one in my life that I really hate. I don't hold grudges very long. There are plenty of people in my life that I dislike, but for the most part I just ignore them. It takes a lot of energy and emotion to hate someone.
I used to hate my boss. But then I quit my old job.
I still hate her, but she's not technically "in my life" anymore
I have a few people in my life that I'm not too keen on at times, but that's life. It takes a lot for me to hate people. That's a poisonous feeling.
I sometimes find that anger can follow being let down/criticized by people that you actually want to like you as much as you like them, for whatever reason. But, I don't consider that hate, just defensiveness/self-protection.

No. It takes too much energy.

There are a few people that, if they were hit by a train, I would send balloons and flowers to the conductor.
But, in the end, I don't really hate anyone, so much as wish they were out of my life permanently.
If by hate you mean you are totally devoid of any feeling of love, compassion, kindness....
no.
There are a few people I could say I hate, but as (relative) family members I still feel love for them, so that doesn't count.

The hate has simmered down. I'm not sure if I could call it that.
But my ex-boyf.
He almost murdered me.
I would be happy if I found out he died.
I don't think so, no.
Yeah that's right my name's Yauch!
Hate is very strong.
I'm not sure.
There are definitely people I really dislike, though.
I dont know that I could get to the place of hate in my heart.
But there are people that I wish were not a part of my life.
