While this post was pretty extreme, I think we would have heard some really mean and low things from the Dems. if McCain had won. Emotions are high on both sides and I think it will be a long time before it dies down. I just hope that everyone can find a way to agree to disagree and make things happen. Seriously.

Ahhhh, it is so liberal that a conservative gets attacked as extreme....no one seems all that riled up about how biased the media coverage has been over the past year because it comports with their view of the world. Like George Carlin said, liberals are all about free?speech?'till you say something they don't like then they want you to shut the hell up. Well at least the extreme left views of Obama and the oppressive tax plan that will increase unemployment will shift the country away from center right, to right-right. So 2012 should see a big shift back to the right. I am just going to cling to my wallet, my gun and my religion until it is over. Maybe we will be able to bring another Reagan from the ashes.?

not to keep the fires a-burnin', but this has nothing to do with having an African American prez --that and waiting for a woman prez are turning points in history...

but we should be able to have a little satire about a guy and his running mate who call people who want to amass personal wealth "selfish", want to "redistribute" that wealth, want to bankrupt the coal industry, has had a documented history of socializing with known jew-bashing terrorists and radicals, and spent the last year mocking traditional American values (as middle-american, mid-west, hokey farm folk values they may be). I'm simply and unapologetically not a fan of socialism, and that"s what an Obama administration means to me. No one has to agree or like that viewpoint, and this is a forum to share all viewpoints... isn't it?
