Sascha & Emily - I love you guys!
Although I voted for McCain I was totally "moved" by last nights events.
But, I do agree with you. This "change" is a little scary. Millions were moved by the hopenosis - but now what? I just feel really uneasy about it all. It's not because he's African-American, but because I feel he is young, perhaps a little too inexperienced, a little too liberal and his background/involvements is still a little iffy to me. (Just my two cents).
Hubby is a huge Obama fan (worked on the campaign) and he said he kinda had the same feeling - to a much lesser scale.
But, my mind is open and ready to be wowed.

Look into it. Not only are you misinformed, you are a flaming idiot.
Shockingly I completely agree with 2bBush. My disapointment with this election has nothing to do with Obama's race. I think it is amazing that we have an african-american president who is supported by a wide variety of races. What makes me sad is that we will have the farthest left administration in history and I think that is the wrong direction for the country. The way to fix a recession is not to redistribute the wealth, the way to keep our country safe is not to pull out our troops capriciously. His policies are much farther to the left than any president before and he is the most liberal Senator, and that I find scary. Everyone seems to think this is about race, but it isn't the disapointment is about policy.
Additionally we are going to see conservatives pull together and hope that the next four years are successful, which is something liberals never did for Bush. Liberals sulked after 2000 and again after 2004 and did?everything?they could to torpedo the Bush presidency. ?So america will again see conservatives have to suck it up for the good of the country, something the other side has never been gracious enough to do.

I am posting because this type of crap isn't a discussion it is an attack. Wow what a response, calling someone an *** instead of stating why they disagree. This is a typical liberal tactic that conservatives face everywhere, school, work...boards. When you are conservative people just call you names rather than having a discussion. It is so typical. Just look at this board. People called 2bBush extreme, scary, an ***...what a stimulating discourse. A conservative expresses their opinion and then gets called names. Typical liberal attack tactics. ?

Oh and there is this one. What an intelligent response. Liberals don't really want a conversation they want you to agree or shut the hell up. Hence all the name calling. Why can't we talk about Obama's poor choices in his associations with terrorists? It is a valid question. But nope, liberals don't like it so we can't talk about it.

It is not that we short answer you because we don't want to talk about it. We do this because it is constantly repetitive untrue facts. Either way you have 4 long years to be bitter under this president so enjoy it.
I never post on here, but I completely agree with you! All liberals do is name call. It cracks me up (not really).?
