Re: What Obama needs to do this week
We came here because it seemed like a more appropriate place to talk about politics and current events. And our bored is a little left leaning, we need a diversity of opinions. I truly believe that I'm a smarter person when my ideas are challenged by others. The bored is called "politics and current events" not "conservative politics and current events." I don't understand why my liberal viewpoint is less welcome than a conservative viewpoint.
Besides, we don't tear apart republicans (that would be messy), we tear apart incorrect arguments.
Your stated goal was to come here and tear apart those stupid republicans, wasn't it?
I'm a little confused. Maybe this should've been on the other thread, but that's ok. If Fez and one or two other people are newcomers from another Nest board and decided to just come over to correct the arguments of us dimwitted Republicans, then why did they mention that I seemed so much more angry than when I posted under my other SN? That is a little confusing to me because that makes it seem like they've been on for years. I didn't post on here for a substantial part of this year.
I also find it funny if I am being presumed as stupid by someone who uses "bored" instead of "board" more than once.
What went on the last few days is obviously "flooding the zone" and trying to restore the beloved Amen Corner for libs where conservatives are decried as stupid and racist, but I don't care. Have at it.
AB - I've been lurking here since 2009. I posted only a handfull of times because I preferred to lurked in order to learn more about things I either didn't understand or wasn't even aware of. I've learned a lot and various threads here and there have actually changed my mind on a lot of topics, mostly detailed instances rather than big picture items. If that makes sense.
I "know" almost all of the regs, including you, because of lurking.
