Obama is better for us personally and locally.  And he has my vote.  

 I, too, have several family members that are wealthy that will all be voting for Obama against their personal best interest because it's for the greater good.   

My cousin married into a very wealthy Republican family. Every single one of them is voting Obama this year to protect their future and investments. They have concerns that Romney's plan will benefit them in the short term, and their businesses will die and their profits plummet long term.

Obviously, not a very wealthy, EDUCATED, republican family.  I would be screwed under Obama's plan and, if your very wealthy family knew anything about anything...they'd likely realize the same.  

Well, they are friends with Rick Perry and are his supporters, and their wedding cost around $200k, so probably just a teensy tinsey bit wealthier than you I would think. Just a smidge. And being educated, they dont just shoot opinions out their asses with no support, mmkay? They are willing to take a temporary short term hit to come out way on top. They didn't get rich being spontaneous nitwits, they worked their way up from being poor immigrants through hard work and wise investments and very careful planning, including in politics, over the last two decades. I think you might have been in diapers back then.

As far as bgps go, I am cool with people being offended on my family's behalf, but I personally dont put any real stock in cant's opinion. She's already proven how "educated" she is. As for my family, they may have money, but they do not believe in stomping on others to keep it. Something about still wanting to get into Heaven and facing God without shame. They cant do that supporting Romney.
