Wow...is this thread for real? Cats...I'd like to introduce you to my crazy FIL and MIL. You'd get along well discussing how Obama's going to ruin all of our lives.
But really, OP...these lovely ladies have already shown that your source is a dud. Just own up and we can discuss real issues.
FYI...I pride myself on always keeping an open mind about politics, esp. since I teach social studies and seniors always want to debate these things. It doesn't make for a good teacher if I don't consider and value the other side's points. With that said, I used to be a moderate conservative and have voted republican, but the latest candidates and their fear-mongering (similar to what you are doing) have completely turned me away from that party. So, it's not Obama's "charm" as you say that attracts a lot of voters...it's the complete idiocy found in the other party. Just my 2cents.

Well, we are more likely to be alive with Obama in office. With Romney, many of us will either be starving or watching our friends scrounge around dumpsters to feed their families, be homeless, and constantly pregnant. I dont love Obama, he has many faults and he needs to work harder. However, I appreciate the things he stands for, and that he is not oldass idiot who says "well I have poor friends" and thinks that makes him relatable to me. Fuckthatnoise.
Narcissism is a mental condition, not a philosophical one. I think this doc should get checked out for it, as should you, since both of you are spouting crap that you have no obvious validation for.
Like.... Romney? Sorry, the only full of himself holier than thou narcissist type I am seeing. And I dont have cable or watch TV so I am not influenced by those. I just looked them both up, noted their stance, paid attention to what they think is an appropriate plan for building the economy back up (giving more money to those who fuckked this shiit up in the first place is not a good idea), and made my decision based on that. I really have no time or inclination to go hunting down youtube videos by crackpots overstepping their capabilities in their rants.
As for specialties, my specialty is being a snarky biitch and disliking social conservatives. That in no way qualifies me for having a TV/radio show or using any youtube video I make as support for an anti-conservative stance. Its really funny how that works. Just because you are obsessed with something does not immediately qualify you as an expert on jackshit.

Cats I have a serious question, I majored in psychology as well and am currently pursuing to get my masters in child psychology. Through my undergrad we were warned about going around diagnosing people and how un-ethical it was.
so my question to you,do think that someone could get a correct diagnosis of a person from just watching news clips, or speeches. Do you agree that to get a proper read, you need to sit down, face to face. Get their personal history and a proper therapy session. As a person with knowlegde of the psychology field don't you feel that what this Man is doing is un ethical?
I admire Obama for not showing this flaw for 4 years.

Hey, cats! I'm still waiting to hear your thoughts about Mitt Romney's involvement with a racist religious sect and his lack of respect for the religious freedom of others.
And just an FYI, "Dr". Vaknin is a narcissist himself. He gets his kicks by pretending to be an authority on the subject from a clinical point of view and gaining admiration from feeble-minded morons on the internet. No credentialed mental health professional takes him seriously. So congratulations- by spreading his gospel so fervently, you are feeding his delusions of grandiosity. Every time you click on his youtube videos and get his view numbers up, you are willfully acting as his narcissistic supply.
Also, most politicians, regardless of party affiliation, exhibit some degree of narcissism. Even if what you're saying were true, Obama isn't notably worse than any other politician in that regard.
To those who claim that I dodge posts, I work 70 hours a week (at LEAST) and do not hibernate on the net.
Regardless of what Sam believes, I firmly believe Obama is a malignant narcissist. I thought so almost immediately.
