Is Romney a Safer Choice for Women?
Re: Is Romney a Safer Choice for Women?
From what I can see of Romney's 5 point plan, we would have less money than we would under Obama. That's the way the numbers roll.
But I'm not thinking about just myself here. I'm thinking about my children and their future. What good is money if you don't have control over your own body?
It's also a remote possibility that either of the candidates will actually be able to fix the economy in the near future. It is far far far beyond simply cutting here and spending there. Even Romney himself said that it would take 8-10 years from now for the economy to see any substantial recovery.
Okay, I'll call you dense. If the shoe fits...
I'm sorry.
I would wager most women don't plan on having an abortion. But so glad you can tell the future for yourself.
So let's say you're in a terrible accident and close to death, or you're having a heart attack and need major surgery. You're 11 weeks pregnant. They have to operate or you'll die. The baby will not survive the surgery, and of course, will not survive if you perish. You have the option of terminating the pregnancy, having surgery, and a high chance of survival. Or you could refuse to terminate the pregnancy and die, leaving your daughter without a mother, your husband without a wife, and having your other baby die anyway. You wouldn't even want the choice to be there? The choice to save your own life so that you will be there for your living daughter? Maybe your husband is in the accident, too, and has already died. Are you going to choose to die rather than terminate a pregnancy that won't be viable anyway and leave your daughter an orphan?
Maybe you would be okay with that. I wouldn't. And even though the chances of that happening are slim, it could still happen and that's why the option needs to be available.
If everyone would just teach their daughters to keep their legs closed, we wouldn't even need to have this discussion.
Because, you know how kids ALWAYS listen to their parents.
Oh, let's also start teaching our sons not to rape.
It is not the guys fault that the whores walk around showing off their calves and forearms.
Whores.
