Looks like things are going in Obama's favor. I'm pacing around my house like a sick dog.
Re: Election Results Thread
FTFY
praying for Ohio! can you imagine another 4 years of this?
Yeah, I think you better start praying for Florida first. If that doesn't swing back into the red, that's a lot of ground for Mittens to make up, in which case Ohio might save him.
No, I can't. Karl Rove is making me feel better but I'm not putting any stock into anyone right now. Just going to keep watching and pray that I don't projectile vomit on myself.
So far, Romney is doing well in states where you can marry your cousin, as long as they're not the same gender as you. Way to go economically oppressed inbreds. Sigh, so many ignorant people. Wake up!
~Obama 2012
he made me feel better too. I may not be able to stay up all night so I told DH to only wake me if Romney wins. I'm glad I didn't drink tonight as I may have vomited on myself too
Have a good night! TTYL!
I'm increasingly optimistic for Virginia- the blue northern counties and cities are very under-reported and apparently still voting in some places.
God bless those people still standing in line. I hope they're tuned into their smartphones and know what a big deal their vote is.
I'm getting a little choked up at all the democracy in action.
'course, that could just be hormones.
But seriously... I'll be in that area tomorrow and am kind of sad I don't get to experience election day so close to DC- it was awesome 4 years ago when I was at school up there. Then again, I'll be visiting with my d!ck of a brother-in-law (who is apparently the only Republican in NoVa) so it wouldn't have been that exciting either way.
...loves that Florida didn't even matter...
FU 2000!
Obama won.
Warren won.
Akin and Murdock lost.
WA weed initiative passing (so far).
It's a good night.
...wonders if the GOP has learned its lesson about an ultra-radicalized party line...
...probably not.
Not to mention Tammy Baldwin, first openly gay senator!
What race was that? I saw a mention of it but missed the state.
There were also marriage initiatives on ballots in Maryland and Maine (and Minnesota maybe?). The Maine one was doing well (for same-sex marriage), MD was close last I saw.
Wisconsin.
Still watching the gay marriage initiatives... http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/11/06/gay-marriage-results_n_2074188.html
If it makes you feel better, I am also sickened that you are American! It doesn't pain me to say it though.
At least you'll have Obamacare...?
Now if only we'd see a swing in I-74. Which hopefully it will once King County numbers start coming in.
