Re: Election Results Thread
Yes, which will destroy us by, what...mid-2014? I'm sorry...just one of those who's stunned that the American people are so simple. I mean, I really do not get it...with the economy the way it is, medicare, ss, a health care plan that will cost us beyond belief, result in companies laying off more workers, physician shortages, lower hours for workers. Americans dead in Benghazi with a coverup that the media is standing by...I know, not too shocking there. And, we vote this in? Just wow'd...that's all.
I'll tell ya what, if Obama destroys us by mid-2014, then I owe you a coke.
I feel the exact same way
everyone wants their entitlements.
Squeeeeee!!! I am so happy! And so sickened by what people are saying on Facebook. But overall, HAPPY!!
whatever, whiner. You're the simple one, sweetie.
Actually, I'm just being honest. I would love to be "in the know" and see what you're all seeing about this guy. And, how do you actually get past all I've mentioned...what exactly is it about him that sells you on him? Trying to have some tact here...I say simple as, to me, I see it about American greed. This administration offers handout after handout with no real incentive for people to do for themselves. We have become a society who is entitled to everything. You no longer have to do for yourself. Or, am I all wrong here? And, if so, please...explain. Help my misguided soul to get it. Did I really spend almost half a century doing for myself and my family for nothing?
It's not greed. I already have health insurance, a stable job, a good education, affordable housing, food on my plate, and so on. I didn't vote for Obama so the government could buy me any of those things. I voted for Obama because he wants to level the playing field so others can achieve the same things, and create a safety net for those who can't. That's not greed, that's patriotism and morality.
Because you guys totally don't spend way more of your GDP on health care than countries with universal health care. /sarcasm
Hey, we're very territorial about our right to overfund our ability to kill people in other countries but underfund our ability to treat sick people in ours.
Silly Canadian socialists...
Very well put. But, I would have to ask... the fact that you worked so hard for all you have and others do not...(note, not all, but some) does that not bother you? The fact that you've gotten where you are and likely, at some point, had to struggle but, today, there is little struggling. And, for most, what you have is taken, handed out in order to level that playing field. Are you fully OK with that? I guess I wish I could be but I don't see it ever happening. I want us, as Americans, to once again be responsible for ourselves. Anyway, thanks....appreciate reading honest, intelligent answers to my puzzling questions.
No, that's not patriotism and morality, it's socialism. And the problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money.
Right, silly me. And here I was being disturbed by the Republican I was talking to the other day who thought it was reasonable that a 6-year-old with leukemia had to rely on charity from her church to afford chemo. That obviously makes sense!
How many innocent people died under a Republican leadership with coverups? Just curious of you know that number since you seem to be oh so informed.
America has a looooooooooooooong way to go before it hits socialism (and socialism is not a four letter word). I don't hear you complaining that government sponsored roads, police, or education makes us socialists. Why is health care the tipping point?
Cats really needs to smoke a jay.
Only four(ty-five hundred) troops in Iraq!
Though I am in the camp that it isn't fair to blame Romney for Bush's flvk@$$ery. It is fair to be wary of him assisting Israel in starting WWIII with Iran though...
She needs to move to Colorado! Come on cats, let's carpool.
Because we're all in favor of providing "entitlements" to old people who have had a lifetime to save up for the totally affordable costs [sarcasm] of living and healthcare post-retirement, but can't stand the thought of assuring medical care for children born with life-threatening conditions. Eew.
Selective socialism for the win.
Handouts like what, specifically? Please tell me which programs specifically you are referring to.
Jesus was a socialist.
True story.
And a community organizer. With no business experience.
No, of course not. And he shouldn't. I just find it interesting how many people bring up Benghazi at every given moment acting like they weep for those innocent lives lost, yet they probably haven't even given all of the past innocent lives lost a single tear. And also, these people would probably happily vote Bush back into office over Obama.
I want to know how many of the people who are so upset about Benghazi could even find Libya on a map.
LMAO! Classic!
