Re: Obama Won!
He won and he'll continue to spend money like it's spouting out of a garden hose, continue to foist Obamacare on hard-working people who will now have to work twice as hard, continue bowing to any shitpot nation's leader, continue ignoring and/or denigrating our most precious traditions, put the U.N. in charge of way too many things, cut the military budget down to bare bones and totally screw the retirees who kept us safe and free by fighting in every war since he was born, and just in general work his ass off to turn our beloved America into a socialist, third-world nation.
We thought we were a world laughingstock over the last 4 years? Just wait......
G-night all!
you took it all right out of my mouth....lets not forget the benghazi cover up....
in all seriousness cats - this might be a good time to get in a better relationship with God. He is still in charge.
Yep. People know what they're getting with him, and they want that. It's sad.
I'm sorry if I offended your atheist/agnostic views
You didn't offend, vlagirl. I just find it ridiculous when people use circumstances such as this to impose their religious beliefs. It bothered me even when I was a Christian.
People knew that Romney had nothing better to offer. Thank goodness.
I understand that and I"m not trying to throw around religion in peoples faces BUT pretty much everything in my life I feel was planned by God and even when I felt hopeless I still had him. that's all and that's what I wanted to say to cats.
You might to smoke some weed, vl.
It's good for nausea.
Sometimes I wish we could have two countries. The republicans can have what they want, and the democrats them. Then everyone can be happy, instead of half the nation let down every time.
Their nation would be one where the government is large, the rich have their earnings taken away, given to those that didn't earn it, they kill unborn babies because it's the mom's own baby, so she should be able to take that life, gays get married of course, so the concept of a nuclear family has no value, they legalize drugs so that behavior can be justified, and have no religion because it's too offensive, and with that no moral base because any behavior is acceptable if you felt an inclination to act on it. And forget about defending God's law, because no one cares about that guy! No self discipline, self reliance, and responsibility.
I wonder which nation would prosper. Honestly. I guess that's what they want! Well actually it sounds kind of like France.
because to make a long story short my first DH died of a cocaine overdose. and weed is the gate way drug and I know it. when we first started dating he introduced me to it and I thought it was fun , but then he introduced me to other stuff (this was done maybe twice a year). I also enjoyed that a little too much so I got out of it, but yet he still kept going and going. I have issues with legalizing drugs of any kind. 2 things that really bother me the most in life are drug use and name calling. I don't take either lightly. I don't usually say this on boards like this. This time of my life was over 6 years ago. he passed away 5 years ago, it was the worst time of my life thus far.
Well, there's always Saudi Arabia.
It's kind of warm there, though. You might want to take some sunscreen.
I suggest you look at Northern Europe. Norway, Sweden, etc constantly rank highest in terms of education, quality of life, spend less on health care, and so on. But, by all means, if you don't care about those things then continue your ridiculous exaggerations about how actually following the separation of church and state is bad for the world.
Cocaine =/= weed. And it's been proven, repeatedly, that weed is not a gateway drug. Some people move on to other drugs, but it has nothing to do with weed.
Secondly, if you are so worried about the debt and budget "crisis" we are facing in this country, it would be in your best interest to legalize marijuana so it can be taxed. If every state legalized it and taxed it like we tax cigarettes, we could eliminate a large chunk of our budget deficit.
I'm sorry for your loss, vl.
But weed is not a gateway drug.
The majority of young people these days are getting their first highs from the prescription drugs found in their parents medicine cabinets. It's much easier to get and cost exactly zero dollars.
I think it does equal other drugs. from the wrong kind of people I hung out with , they all started with pot, then shrooms, then x, then cocain, then acid. everyone is looking for the next high they can get. The true addicts that is.
How do you feel about alcohol?

Thank you. Cigarettes and alcohol are both severely more dangerous than weed, yet, they are legal.
It's very interesting to research why marijuana/hemp is actually illegal in the US. It is not for the reasons most people think it is.
