you are mistaken, I am not a tech.

And yes I find it quite humorous that you use the circle of life as a reason to keep a cat indoors. I do not deny they have an impact on wildlife population, but so does every other animal on this earth. And I find it a very silly argument to keep a cat indoors. There are much better reasons. (many of which I entirely agree with mind you, I just realize all logical reasons only go so far and that does not make an owner a bad person or a bad pet owner)

And you sure are a classy poster there with your name calling. It very good for a constructive discussion. (which is my point about this board in general)

please harp some more on how much you dislike this board. You're so close to winning us all over to your rationalizing-bad-decisions way of thinking.

  • It really doesn't matter what you think of me except that maybe you should listen to my point. This board is quite judgemental that is a fact. Yes I disagree on some points (dog food) and take a different point of view on others (this thread, I agree with many points but don't find the end result very helpful for the OP), but that doesn't mean I am a "DB" or an "idiot" or that I do not know what I am talking about.

If you really want to change peoples opinions and help improve animal health you have to give and take. You have to respect their POV and help where they are and wake up to reality. Not every cat is going to be indoors only, not every dog is going to get enough exercise nor will every owner agree with how to take care of their pet or that their pet is as important as their child etc. Making snap judgments and critical remarks isn't helpful for the owner or the pet.

Rationalizing poor pet ownership doesn't help, either.
