I'm annoyed that I had a months worth of contacts left and an appointment scheduled for a new prescription, but I tore not one, but two lenses in one week. I haven't torn any in at least a year and now I have to wear my glasses until a trial pair comes in to tide me over until my appointment. After having contacts so long glasses (that I only wear for like 10 minutes before bed) is such a huge pain in the ass. And of course, I had to get the glasses with the super thick frames so that someone could practically sneak up beside me and I would have no idea they were there.
I'm hungry and I want some ice cream.

But I feel like their want to go out for every meal trumps my health and I don't know what to do about it.
“Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?"
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to."
"I don't much care where –"
"Then it doesn't matter which way you go.”

I like to fudge with baking all the time though. I have much better success with that. Sweets are my thang yo.

I make a Bailey's chocolate cheesecake a couple of weeks ago that was like a rock star and it was practically eaten in silence. That shit was good and you know it!

My older sister wants to leave her husband. I don't know her hubby that well, but he works three jobs so my sister can be a SAHM. Also, he adopted my neice and is raising her as his own kid. I asked my sister what he did and she said "nothing. He's a great guy. I am just bored." I suggested she spend more time with him (he sits at home with the kid or plays video games while my sister goes bar hopping with her friends) and she said he is just not a fun enough person for her. He is SUCH a good husband to her. I feel bad for him. She told him she wants to leave and he is actually just letting her live there while she finishes school and finds a job/saves up money. Poor schmuck.
